It's like one of those do it yourself Halloween projects you did in elementary school. You know where you would make a cat or a witch (but not a ghost) and attach the limbs with hole punches and those bend over rivet attacher things. But before you did that you would laminate it so it would last. Every halloween Mom pulls it out of the holiday decorations box and puts it in the window.

I wish I lived in Chicago. That sounds like a good night out.

Yeah, we have been a bit cranky with one another lately. Lets give thanks for the reason we're all here (on this website not in the metaphysical sense).

Thanks for linking that article jff. I did enjoy. Nels seems like such a sincere cat. I'm interested in checking out some of his other work. Any suggestions on where to start?
If i'm ever in Chicago on a Wednesday night Louie I'm calling you out.

I don't wanna hear no complaints gosh darn it! .
How bout one teeny tiny "rats!!!". I would have loved to see Califone, but we're going to the Friday night show.

I just recently discovered this doc myself, and really like it. It's worth the price of admission just for When the Roses Bloom Again. It always kills me how Jeff delivers this incredibly heart-wrenching song and is so nonchalant about it afterwards! I am incorporating clips of it in my lessons on the Dust Bowl Era and Steinbeck, etc.
Nice touch!!! I wish more teachers would incorporate music into their lessons. The songs of Woody Guthrie and many others are as important to our history as our literature.

My wife and I got BB right center on an aisle. We're hoping these are good seats, but we're happy to be going just the same. The show is right after my birthday so these are my present.

Well, I just had to hear the first encore song. Remember to remember me. At 5:00 a.m. when I'm on my way to work.

One more then I gotta go to bed. I can't go out out on Don't forget the Flowers. My computer fritzed and I missed most of Muzzle. Been digging the Philly 03 version as an opener lately

I'd like to see them break out some of the faster stuff.
"At Least That's What You Said" is nowhere near as fun when you can't watch Jeff and Nels torture the necks of their guitars in the end.
True dat.
-
I love when he kicks in with that guitar!!!!

And a touch of Pinot Noir for this cat.
Great idea Lammy.
Congrats on the grand Mike.
Poor Places. Great freakout at the end in E. Lansing last week.

I still can't figure out this seating thing exactly.
But, from comparing the two seating charts and the pictures, it looks like the AAA, BBB, and CCC seats aren't shown in the pictures. Instead, there's a big black riser/ stage extension thing and the seating starts at row DDD. This is going off the number of rows and where the handicapped sections are.
Does anyone know if there are AAA, BBB, or CCC seats for these shows?
here is the link to the seating chart from the auditorium website. aaa, bbb, ccc are the 1st 3 rows.

Same here. I got nothing too. I'm going to have to try via ticketmaster. they have a presale for it on friday but don't know anything about ticketmaster presale. you need some kind of code. don't know how to get it.

You go to war with the Wilco you have, not the Wilco you wish you had.
Just it'd be nice if they put in some actual rockers or give up the argument that the audience should be standing at a rock show because really they won't be. At a rock show. If you have to drag out 10+ year old songs to get the audience excited then maybe you should think about what you're doing now and why it's not connecting the same way.
I've been looking for a new signature jethro. If you don't mind I'd like to use your war quote.
At the E.Lansing show, folks were sitting down after the first 5-6 songs and the excitement didn't pick up until Jeff did some crowd interaction. His "sermon" really got the crowd riled up and boogien on a couple of new tunes til the very end of the show.
