this was my first Mr. Blotto show and it was amazing. The covers were great and their lead guitar player is awesome. It's nice seeing a band on stage that truly looks like they are having a great time. The rhythm player and singer had a smile on his face for half the show and he's a pretty damn good singer.

    Anyone else there last night?

  2. is the rock version of sunken treasure more like the album version? or is it something different?

yeah i'd say it's closer to that. i have a version from 97 i believe and it sounds like that kind of.

very good version though, i definitely prefer it to the softer one

  4. hello everyone. sorry if this is frowned upon, i'm kind of new here. i've been getting into a lot of jeff tweedy's solo stuff and i have the 3-5-05 show on my computer but hear that the 3-4-05 show is equally as good. I'd try finding a torrent, but unfortunately my school made it so you can't download torrents so that is not an option.

so i was wondering if anyone knows where i might find this show to download. i know there are some websites that have shows but don't know specifically where to find them. if there is a site that has shows but not that one please post as well. i can't get enough wilco/jeff tweedy.

oh yeah. only a few more weeks till milawaukee!!!! :dancing

  5. when i do the interlude part i play it like this. hope it comes out clean haha.

sounds good to me at least :D

  6. hello, being new to wilco, i'm looking to download a live show, something that is considered essential. meaning it is a perfect combination of sound quality and performance quality. So I was wondering if there was a show out there that falls into that category. Also if you can give me a link to a site to download it from it would be greatly appreciated. I can to BT and have a dimeadozen account if that helps.

thanks in advance and I can't wait to start getting into wilco!

  7. The quality is quite good but I'm only 15 minutes in so hopefully things won't go downhill. I was afraid it would sound pretty bad since the benches were shaking a lot causing me to move more than just my regular foot taps. But yeah, I'm pretty damn impressed with it.

awesome, i can't wait. Thanks a ton for taping it! it's always great getting to relive the concert after it's over

  8. the show was awesome. my first time seeing wilco not including farm aid.

it's wierd though, usually the summerfest crowds are loud and obnoxious but this was quite oppositte. they were very quiet, almost too quiet. at least by me, anyone else notice that?

by the way, anyone know if anyone was taping the show?

  9. How cool! I'm sure Jeff was gracious as always, but his leg was probably killing him! :unsure

WilcoWorld will be putting the webcast up in its "Roadcase' in the next few days, so you & your brother can look forward to that. :cheers I'm sure a taping of the show will emerge before long also.

awesome, thanks for the info. i've only seen wilco once and that was at farm aid last year. it was cool, but i'm guessing not quite the normal wilco concert experience. i'm actually seeing them wednesday at summerfest. once again i'm guessing it's not quite the normal wilco experience, but it'll be longer then farm aid. i guess i'm working my way up :)

  10. did anyone capture the webcast? my brother went to the show last night and couldn't have been more excited when i told him the show was webcast. he actually got to meet jeff tweedy after the show too said he was a relly cool guy just kind of tired lol
