Everyone should go and see these guys!! They are so much fun to see live! Their shows have to much energy and there's plenty of room for some dancin'!
-
I listen to them all in their entirety quite often, but I listen to AGIB most often.

Hello fellow canucks! I was just wondering if any of you have received your "Sunken Treasure" packages yet, if you did the pre-order thing from musictoday? I am trying to be patient...but I'm getting kind of anxious. I forget how long the international shipping is supposed to take...so I was just curious. Thanks a bunch!

that there is an establishment named Pita Pit is fucking awesome.
-
I've heard it played in its rockin entirety at the local Pita Pit...several times. Of course...that is where I work. I must convert as many people as possible!!
-
Those are some fantastic photos! I especially love the one where Jeff has his finger in his ear...very cute expression on his face!

I don't know if this is in bad taste (I'm thinking to myself "yes, it is" but what the hell?)...if so, feel free to shut me down. I was just wondering, what kind of money do people tend to give for the private show auction? I think I read somewhere that from one of the shows, around $12 000 was raised...obviously from a group of people. So is it around $1000 per person?
I don't mean to be nosey, really I don't. It's just that ever since I've read some of the old posts from these types of shows, I would really love to be a part of something like it. And for me, it would take probably a year to save up that kind of cash to give to the charity. So I just wanted to know if it's feasable for me to save up that kind of cash in a year or so. This is assuming of course that the private show auctions continue...but I can hope.

I've been in four different stores here in Victoria and no...one...knows.....who....Jeff Tweedy....is....here.....!!!! I can't freaking believe it and am sad and outraged.
I'll get the dvd soon but am both mad yet slightly gratified that Jeff is not that popular!
They had the DVD at HMV here. I was quite surprised!

Cheers!

there's a great radio station out of Calgary...or Edmonton. I forget. It's CKUA and that's the only place I've heard Wilco. It's an amazing station playing stuff from all around the world. You can listen to it online as well...check it out!

alright. i think someone asked this earlier, but still hasn't gotten a response. Do I need to have a dvd burner in order for my computer to even read the disk? Or should a cd drive be able to read the disk? Cause all i have is a cd drive, and nothing is happening...
-
I just did the little 'test your connection speed' at wilcoworld and this piece of crap, 8 year old computer only has a speed of 324kbps and 1000kbps is the recommended speed.
oh well, I'll just have to wait till my package arrives in the mail.
