At the Agganis in Boston.....it was actually one of my favorite shows ever....I had heard of MMJ at the time but never seen them...i made a great decision to get there early and see their whole set.....it was awesome..and then Wilco put on one of the best shows i've seen them play...ended with Dylan I Shall Be Released with Tweedy in a BU hockey jersey they gave him....you kinda knew right then it was the last time MMJ would be opening for them...way too much energy and rock.

i preordered the package, cd, dvd, and t shirt, DVD is fine, but my cd is completely messed up. I import into my itunes, and when i play it back it skips, some songs play like 1/2 the song and then morph into the next song.....funny because i had early version someone burned for me and that was completely fine, and I said, i'm getting the actually cd so i threw that one away...anyone else have this issue?

I've been to a ton of festivals over the years, bigger ones, smaller ones and i can tell you Memphis is one of the best. Its well run, and the local musicians there are as good as the bigger acts, plus you get to go to beale street when the main stages are over......and i actually think the lineup this year is great...for those going def don't go to Beale with out seeing Richard Johnston (his shows on beale are legendary) Corey osborn Billy Gibson Band Jerry Lee Lewis (just because you have to, he still puts on a great show) and just about any band that play BB kings late night (last year W

From his Gibson Guitar Blog..... Been listening to new albums by Lucinda Williams (not my favorite, but definitely growing on me), Patti Griffin (excellent), the new Son Volt album (my favorite by them since Traces in 1995), and my favorite album so far this year, the new Rickie Lee Jones album, which is by far my favorite album of hers since her 1981 masterpiece Pirates. Additionally, someone played me an illegally acquired copy of Wilco

bold992003 replied to Welsh Rich's topic in Someone Else's Song
The White Stripes will be the band i tell my kids and grandkids about. They are amazing. When you see Jack live you really feel like your in the presence of one of the greats. -
Would Absolutely love to see M Ward open for Wilco......who's with me? M. Ward's first single from Post-War, "To Go Home" is now available here via Merge Records in North America & 4AD Records in Europe ( 7" vinyl + CD format). The single is backed by 3 unreleased B-sides - including M. Ward's first collaboration with guitarist Nels Cline on a cover of Jimmie Dale Gilmore's "Headed for a Fall" which features guest vocals by Jim James and Neko Case. Other special guests include: Howe Gelb, Tommy Larkins, and Chris Scruggs (Earl Scruggs' grandson)

i don't think jack white has anything to do with it, they are just the stripes songs.
-
M Ward, mason jennings, neko case would all be great.
-
anyone notice this, i think its the 2nd song, the drums sound just like the intro to Kamera.
