I would recommend getting there at least an hour and a half before doors open. As I was on the floor, I didn't pay much attention to how quickly the balcony filled up, but if you want to be in the first few rows you can't get there early enough. All I know is it was an extremely packed show, seemingly even more than an average sold out gig at the Riv. Good luck to you and your friend getting those good balcony seats!

Yeah, gotta hate those ego-centric Wilco fans who think they are one of the rare good ones and somehow have a right to criticize and look down upon the rest...

I can see myself in this. Jeff Tweedy's right fist is on my head.

You ALL were WRONG! Haha, yeah, I was pretty surprised when they opened with that one. I think it worked very well though, great opener, unbelievable show.

That show at the Metro was really good. I was in the very front and had a great time.

That fake cop was ridiculous. I knew there was something fishy once he told some guy to delete a picture off of his camera, and then proceeded to muscle his way in front of me so his stupid girlfriend could take an up close picture on her camera. What a joke. His badge actually said "Special Police." Special, as in "fake." Oh, but on another note, the show was amazing. It was the fourth Wilco show I've seen, and easily the best, but that's possibly because I was so close to the front and it was such an intimate setting for them. The Millennium Park show was also incredible. I had such a grea

I will buy anything, people. Anything at all. Even counterfeit tickets. I'll go anywhere to pick them up, too. Just PM me or better, e-mail me. Thanks.

I read an article in the paper the other day saying that it is now illegal for software companies to produce that auto ticket software in any way. However, what about the brokers? Why can't it be made illegal for them to use such software, since most of them probably already had it by the time it became illegal to distribute / produce it. Otherwise, the damage has already been done.

Doesn't look like this queue is going anywhere, but I'm still willing to hop in. I'd be happy to buy anthing...especially a 5-day pass, but single tickets will do as well.

Pearl Jam is one of those bands whose music I'm generally not a fan of, but I sure as hell respect them. I really wish more bands would make a stand like Pearl Jam has done on various different issues. I don't think evil monopolies like Ticketmaster could operate in such a world...it's a shame it probably won't ever exist. Everything Pearl Jam ever does I seem to agree with.

...and it doesn't seem to mean anything.

I think Ticketmaster, of all sites, really needs to update its CAPTCHA method. Read this: http://www.answers.com/captcha?cat=technology&ff=1 Pay special attention to the third paragraph.

I tried on both pre-sales with no results. I wanted to get the 5-day pass for the Chicago winter residency. No luck there. Then I tried this morning and got nothing still. My entire family was on a different computer trying to refresh the pages, desperate for a ticket to any day. No luck for any of us. We even tried Ticketmaster on the phone. Zilch. So I ended up going to StubHub, and got ripped off big time for a ticket to the Friday and Wednesday shows. Hopefully those will be the good ones. I can't rant and vent enough when it comes to Ticketmaster. It makes me furious. Such an evil co
