Dylanesque was given a bit of a rough time but his version of 'Make You Feel My Love' is stunning

not alot of people havn't done one, but what are some of the best?

of course we have hendrix and the byrds, but what are the more obscure ones you guys dig??

recently i cant stop listening to 'Leave Me Like You Found Me', which did nothing for me when i first heard it

but i now adore it

not really harmonies as such, i just double tracked the same vocal line

i recorded this version of a new tune of mine this morning, mostly to experiment with a new arrangement so its not the full song but i was really pleased with the way the guitars sounded so thought i would post it anyway

that jeff version's odd, i wouldnt take it too seriously though...i would imagine he is infact a dead fan

ah this must of been the blues Jr. then it definately had reverb

its a really awesome guitar, beautiful clean tone...id leave it be, but of course its up to you.

maybe just take it to a tech and see what they say about it, Id make sure it was something you could switch back if you didnt like the humbucker or ever needed to sell it or something

i did the recording of our bands EP with a Blues Junior?, or maybe a Pro Junior, im not sure of the difference but it was a small 15 watt fender that belonged to our friend, it was incredible and i loved that way it had hardly any knobs but 15 watt may be a little quiet

i think ill try and find somewhere with a C30 in stock and give it a whirl

anyone on here got one of these, or used one a bit??

im getting fed up of using the amps where our band rehearse, theres a different couple in the room each time, just pot luck sometimes ok sometimes bad, mostly broken

tempted by the small price of these, the other guitarist uses a 40 watt Fender Deluxe

is the peavey loud enough?

and how many knobs do they have?

i wouldnt personally, but im not a big fan of humbuckers and Jazzmasters have such a beautiful clean clear tone i wouldnt wanna mess with one

if its the USA 62 you mean, the guitarist in my band plays one the same, really is an awesome thing

All of 'You Are My Face', i had a Wilco binge last night Summerteeth>YHF>Ghost>SBS

and found the experience slightly disheartening when comparing my feeble attempts at songwriting to Tweedys

theres no baggage with his lyrics, not a single word out of place or a phrase that feels a little messy

its just on the official SY page, go to archieves then 'Gearography', i dunno how they do it though, cos a Jazzmaster pickup is bigger then a humbucker so it may look a little messy

just in general Wilco (post-AM) remind me of White Album/Let It Be/Abbey Road later beatles

If its with The Cardinals, then I'd say Ryan for sure, then again both times ive seen Conor he's put on a hell of a show

its usually a smaller, higher tuned snare used lots in Dub, Reggae, Ska and i guess Jazz too

im always telling our drummer he should consider one but hes not fond of them lol
