    A Cherry Ghost
  1. I really hope Wilco continues to come back to western NY, although I'm moving to NH I will still travel to Rochester to catch a show just to see family, friends and WILCO.
  2. I enjoyed the Rochester show more due to the sound being better and my location (5th row, right in front of Pat) but this show was great, I enjoyed the set list much more this time. My friend that I brought with me had never been to a Wilco show and only really heard a few songs by them before hand, usually in my car. She loved it, she had a great time and I think it may have made her a fan. A funny little story from the night, my friend went out to use the bathroom and grab a beer, she stopped by the merch table to by a tote bag. As she was standing there this guy said hi to her and she cas
  3. I laughed when Jeff smacked that kid in the head when he was trying to take a picture, it was pretty funny. As for the traffic getting into Canada, it was backed up almost 2 miles before the show even started, not sure what the problem was but it made my wait to get off the exit almost twice as long (2.5 hours to get to the show and 1.5 hours to get home). Usually getting into Canada is easy coming back to the US usually proves to be difficult. The venue was probably the weirdest I've ever been to, did any of you sit in the lawn? I went up to visit a friend during Conor's set, I'd be a
  4. Did anyone else think the sound inside sounded really bad. Everything was so loud it distorted. It was fun at first but after 10 songs of blistering noise it bothered me. Overall it was a great show, they sounded good (aside from being too loud) and Jeff was in high spirits. Setlist was a tad disappointing but some great versions. I was a huge fan of Hoodoo Voodoo, Pat was going nuts!
  5. I love the road they have taken, they usually don't jam too much the most you ever get is Thorn In My Pride (usually runs 15-20 mins) the rest they just extended by a few solos. Haven't seen them play any of the new tunes, but I thought the new album was pretty good. I saw them 3 times in 06 and all three times were excellent.
  6. Here's a new source: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=520966
  7. That was a great show. They had so much energy, Jeff seemed to be in high spirits poking fun at the others (the smuggling the beard over comment was great). I was pleased with the setlist, I would of liked a few new songs (the only one I've heard so far was the one on Colbert) but I understand why they did the 'greatest hits' setlist. I originally had tickets in Row N of the balcony, but found some 5th row RC tickets for $50 last minute, an incredible upgrade. I was pretty blown away by Spiders, it always makes me happy to see Jeff get down on the guitar, with Nels its expected but it jus
  8. I wish I could help you out but I dont have an hi res versions or the vinyl versions, with the exception of SBS but I would be very interested in these when you get your hands on them.
  9. If any one has the DVD Sunken Treasure by, of course, Jeff Tweedy and could give me a high quality scan of the backside of the dvd I would greatly appreciate it. I am designing a cd case for the audio portion that was available for download for a class of mine. I ordered the dvd but have yet to recieve it and need the information asap. Please if some one could help.
  10. PM if you have anything you want to share, thanks!
  11. I am looking for some of Nels Cline solo work, I have never heard it and really like what he added to wilco on the newest album. If any one could upload an album, I want to sample before I purchase. Just PM me if you can help. Thanks
  12. "dust off the headphones for an old school 'album in its entirety' " sounds like a full album stream to me. can not wait...
