I'm going to venture a guess and say Patterson uses more of his 'A' material for the DBT records.

Yeah. It's definitely quite a departure from what they'd be doing up to that point stylistically. I'm not as enamored with the 60's catalog as I am with their 70's catalog. So I guess I didn't bring those expectations when I first heard MH.
