  1. Do not tell me I've changed. You're just raising your standards.
  2. Absolutely loving the pedal steel on "Stolen Shoes and a Rifle."
  3. There's plenty of really ugly warts in the Neil Young catalog. This point is really beyond a matter of opinion. Landing on Water is pretty much unlistenable. Most, not all, most of his 1980's output is pretty much garbage. His little Geffen pissing match and the personal turmoil in his life made much of that decade forgettable. The guy is a very eccentric dude who has released a lot of music over the last 40+ years. Most of it is excellent. There's definitely some misses in there, but come on. The list of quality albums the man has released is staggering. Everybody Knows This Is Nowh
  4. If the part about being who he was didn't help Tom get loose, what's a guy without a T. gonna get? Totally screwed, while chicken wing puke eats the candy apple red off his Corvette Three dimes down and 25 cents shy of a slice of the Doublemint twins Come back baby, Rock and Roll never forgets
  5. "I Got Mine" forces me into this half-limp bounce everytime. Very bizzare. The last song, "Things Ain't What They Used to Be," is easily one of my favorite songs from 2008.
  6. Based on some of your past comments regarding Neil, I could have saved you the trouble and just told you he isn't your favorite artist.
  7. Had my presentation last night. It went very well. Before I spoke, I played the following playlist as pre-lecture background music: 1. Bandages & Scars - Son Volt 2. After the Garden - Neil Young 3. World Wide Suicide - Pearl Jam 4. We Can't Make It Here - James McMurtry 5. Last to Die - Bruce Springsteen 6. Puttin' People on the Moon - Drive-By Truckers 7. When the President Talks to God - Bright Eyes Thanks again for your suggestions.
  8. I need to learn how to better recognize/accept these. Thanks.
  9. Wow! Absolutely blistering solo on "Don't Come Around." The sounds Ford is able to elicit from his guitar are flat out dirty.
