during ACL two years, I went there on the monday afternoon for a swim and a nap and woke up next to John Stirratt.

it's small. I've always been close to the front, so I'd say the sound is fine.

I like it better than irving plaza. for one thing, the bar is separate from the music, so for a club show, that cuts down on the folks who go to shows and don't give a shit and want to talk. and plus, there's pierogis and kielbasa to be had.

sweet. that's going to be a tough ticket to get. yikes.

summerstage would have been great, too. their show with sonic youth a couple of years back there was great.

I did wonder why they are playing hammerstein... nothing's booked at RCMH. is it about playing somewhere they've never played before?
