I discovered White Castle on my 1st trip to Chicago and made it a must on every return trip. After not getting back for a year or so, I realized I could get them in Jersey when I started travelling down to see my 2nd favorite band I went to NJ as part of my vacation last week and we were SO FAR NORTH, I couldn't get any... So now I'm DYIN' for some...and yes, they sell 'em frozen at the local grocery store but that's just NOT the same as heading into White Castle in the middle of the night after a great show and piggin' out with the rest of the night people/fave local band

I'm off to relax at Crystal Lake, yes I said Crystal Lake...lol, in Vermont for a few days. Then I'm headed down to Jersey to go see my 2nd favorite band Subcommittee!!! Hope you all have a great week!!! EDIT: When I reminded my girls what we were doing, my oldest asked "Are they going to play 'Walken'?!?" Poor girl... I told her that's WILCO, not SUBCO. She was highly dissappointed. I asked her nicely not to let my friends (the band) know that when we get there And then I said "Maybe next year I'll take you to a Wilco show if you still wanna go". She was quite excited!!!

So, just to show how they are getting more recognized I wanted to share a little story with you all. I hang around with kids about half my age and all but one of them had NEVER heard of Wilco until they met me. They're not mainstream people either, they just prefer the harder side of music. With the release of SBS, obviously they heard a lot more from me. I even made them sit through some of the DVD. Two of them are guitar players and they could truly appreciate Nels. And with me going to two shows and "meeting" Jeff...obviously that's about all they've heard from me over the past two months
