Wow!!! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I asked

Well, Kristofor...it looks like I was 4 rows behind you dead center in November '05. My friends and I had some not so great seats way in the back. My friends fiance waited just a tad too long to order out tickets. We bought four, can't remember why. So we had this fourth extra ticket. My friend decided she would go out front to get face value or even just give it away, better than a ticket going to waste, right?!? Well, she ended up talking to some guys who had extra tickets. It looked no one was going to be able to get rid of anything they had. So she asked if she could trade hers for one

Man, in less than 5 minutes I "met" more local Wilco fans than I've ever met in REAL life before... Praise be to you all I am going to BOTH MA shows as well!!! Many apologies for all the emoticons, I'm a lil' on the excited side right now.

Yea, so I met this lovely (hehe) fella from Oregon yesterday on my first day here. I'm just curious if there are any local people. It's so few and very, very far between that I can even find someone in the area who even KNOWS who Wilco is...

I actually like the fact that not so many people know them. I wish a had a FEW friends who did, tho...I am working on that now. I wouldn't respond any differently to their music/his words, but I feel popular music is just that sometimes "popular". I don't think as many people would bother trying to understand and/or appreciate it as we all seem to do.
