Now that's some funny shit right there.

I found this more than a little disturbing. Editor's note: This is part of a series of reports CNN.com is featuring for "God's Warriors," a documentary hosted by CNN chief international correspondent Christiane Amanpour. (CNN) -- At one point in Jared Hutchins' young life, the Beatles were a big problem.

In my own experience, counseling with social workers and psychologists was of limited value. Exercise didn't work. Nothing worked. When I went to a psychiatrist, help arrived almost overnight. I was skeptical but I have to say he made an accurate diagnosis and put me on a specific regimen of meds, and they've worked brilliantly. No depression or anxiety attacks in over 2.5 years. No more sleep issues. I gained a bit of weight but that's the only side effect I've experienced. I tend to mistrust the whole medical industry a lot, but that's my story. I wouldn't tell anyone else what to

All I see on the left is a kid that looks like Greg Brady. Tweedy's eyes aren't set close together like that, for one thing. Also, the devil eyebrows. Very important detail. That kid looks like he could be a good Baptist. Tweedy don't worship there.

Whether or not you were convinced of the illusion of watching "Johnny Cash" on film, Phoenix put a Herculean effort into that performance. I think it was a much more demanding role than Capote, which I think PSH stole the Oscar for, since "he was due" to get his.

Ding Ding, we haves a winnah! Joaquin was ROBBED at the Oscars. He can sing, he was incredible as Johnny Cash. He can do Jeff's devilish eyebrow thing too. Get a jean jacket on that boy!!

I just don't know if that guy's cheeky enough to play Jeff. I'm leaning more toward John Cusack now.
-
Liam Neeson could play Nels, if Bowie wasn't available. (he's a good actor tho.. played Tesla recently in that magic flick) I did see Almost Famous, but found it pretty forgettable.
-
Don't know the actor, but you definitely need someone "edgy" to play Jeff. Maybe Ed Norton Jr.? Or better yet Jason Lee?
-
Thanks x 2, what a wicked clip! I wasn't close enough in Cinci to see it with the naked eye, but I will be in Louisville.
-
I've been meaning to ask something; Nels' Mach 3 speed of sound runs on KT (you can hear it especially on Handshake Drugs) -- is that just really hyper-fast picking, or is he using an effects box??
-
Bootleg Whiskey.

What badger said. I think it's clear both John and Jeff's game has been elevated a few notches since Nels and Pat joined the band. You can hear it on KT and SBS pretty clearly...especially "John's parts".

Funny...I've been listening to A.M. a lot this week, and every time I listen to Should've Been In Love, I can't help imagining hang gliding along the central California coastline, on a crystal clear Sunday morning. (not that I've ever done that!) It's weird. The song has such a positive guitar vibe considering the lyrical subject. Somehow conjures up hang gliding...solitary but definitely not lonely.

A good Christmas gift for all VC guitar players

Gotta love John. He plays his part in the band to perfection. And I've never seen him look any less than 100% enthused about it.
-
Now that's what I'm talkin' about!!

(assuming this will sell out)...is the fan base really big in Detroit? Or do they bank on getting an influx of Chicago (and Toronto) fans.
-
I knew that's what you meant. My comment wasn't a retort, just a reminder (to all of us). Dubya is behaving as expected, as always.....the rest of us need to keep each other grounded in some sort of reality, if it's possible. Jm2c
