  1. Come to the real capital of Ireland, Cork.

And you won't understand a word they say, be forced to drink Beamish instead of the black stuff and have to listen to endless monologues of how it should be stringer starting and that Keano will lead Sunderland to the premiership next year

  2. Tough Luck to Arsenal I thought for sure that last header was going in. Oh well AC will take care of business at home.

Cos AC have done such a great job at getting it done at home so far this season

Just realised this thread had been here so Let me introduce myself. I'm a Chelsea and Juve fan (A Vialli thing) with a gos worship that surpasses even that for Jeff Tweedy of Francesco Totti

  3. Hi all:

I was thinking about traveling to Dublin for Easter weekend when one of my friends told me it's a very religious area. For those who live in Ireland, is the city shut down that weekend? Thanks.

For one, its not the 80s and Dublin isn't that religious anymore, we packed alot of that stuff in in exchange for riches.Having said that though, we love holidays so alot of things could be shut on Good Friday but it's not bad now compared to how it used to be. Seeing as I don't so the touristy stuff it's hard to tell what you want to be open. Everything will be shut on Sunday

I would have major doubts about your friend who said it was very religious. Keep in mind that we are the nation who changed are Patron Saint's day into an excuse to get rat-arsed. TBH I'd go to Rome, not Dublin

  4. I think alot of you could be okay. I have the feeling that given how quick they sold out, the scalpers may have bought too much tickets which can often lead to tickets been sold for less.

As for the I.D. policy mentioned earlier with the Pumpkins example, I'm dead against it. How many of you have bought two tickets for a gig without knowing who that person is?. I.D.'s would stop that completely

  5. What Rich said. I feel really spoilt by the "normal" shows they did this year in Central Europe (although we could only attend 3), but I feel seriously left out & ignored when it comes to solo shows & especially the living room show opportunities. I am sure there would be 20 people in Europe that are willing to donate 1000$ each to set up a show in my living room :flirt

Oh well. I guess it's just not gonna happen :no

1000 dollars is only about 100 euros anyway

  6. Many have been let go.

But most are there for fighting the US military and for supporting Al-Qaida.

Yes some are there for the wrong place at the wrong time. Which is terrible, but it happens.

Cryptique, don't confuse facts for your hatred of Bush, the bad guys are still the bad guys.

Fighting the U.S. military outside the States is not a crime

Actually, in this case America are the bad guys (perish the thought). America invaded a country, arrested those who fought back and imprisoned them in outside America to avoid harsher laws with virtually no evidence. They then released a few just because they were british and once released the prisoners weren't exactly complimentary
