Gotta say some of the Sky Blue Sky songs are going to be live staples in the future. You are my Face is feckin' AMAZING
-
Yep, Before they kicked into Kidsmoke pat and Michael were droning for a minute or so, in other words a best of selection off the last 9 minutes of Less Than You Think
-
Great gig but the set list is a little off. In Wilco's infinite wisdom they decided to replace Poor Places with the Drone. Other than that no complaints, one of the best versions of Kidsmoke I've heard, You are my face was savage and got a few rarities at the beginning.
One other small problem was that there was 1 from Summerteeth and nothing from A.M. but I assume they'll rectify tyhat tonight

exactly what is pretentious about Sigur Ros, in your opinion?
calling an album () is pretentious
-
You can get it on Motion Sickness which should be easily torrented
-
Muse
Hot Chip
QOTSA
Beastie Boys
Wilco
NIN
and Bright Eyes put on the best show I've ever seen
Honourable mention: New Order
-
Engineers demos????
-
KISS are touring again????
Would kill for European tour
-
I like the way he says Jeff's lyrics aren't word soup, and then, out of love for the reader, demonstrates what it is
-
Now I remember the best cover....
Nick Cave- Disco 2000
It is phenomanel
-
Italy- Nice Cream (and women)
-
It was probably my favourite song before hand but now it's just unbeatable
-
Just download the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot demos from bt.etree. Amazing version of poor places on it too
-
I thought it was "Casino Queen"

I will standing there both nights. First with my mates who I got into Wilco specifically for this (although one of them has still never heard one tune) and on the second night with my sister for her eighteenth (She either gets a pressie that I approve of or nothing at all). Might be able to get backstage as it turns out I am friends with a guy who's parents own the place. Small chance Jeff might mention me cos I got "hospital" sick front and centre at a wilco gig on my birthday this summer (I know I'm probably sounding like an ass but It's one of the things that I'll regret forever)in Turin during my 2 month stay. The supposed high point turned out to be the low point of a great holiday .
Might make the meet up with my sister on thursday but doubt it on Wednesday.
One question, how do you get into soundchecks there? I'm off college at 10 A.M. on wednesday so I would love to catch a bit off Hotel Arizona at a soundcheck
R.E. requests. First night "easy rockers" to appease my friends so Casino Queen, I'm Always in Love, Got You and Kidsmoke.
Second night. Not for the season, poor places, Summerteeth Why would you wanna live and How to fight loneliness for my sister
-
Hit me Baby one More time- Travis
Sweet Home Atalanta-Nelly (more of a remix really)
-
I consider them as senior interpretations, rather than word for word quotes
-
DO they always just play the hits in Europe? Wouldn't mind a bit of a banjo solo in Dublin
-
Was my first taste of Wilco live. MKH, having looked at bt.etree and seen your username a couple of times I presume that there's no need to bring any taping material and you'll be sharing with newbs brah ?
-
You have the tweedy gig? Where'd you get that?
-
I was always under the impression that these were low key gigs.
P.S. Dick, do you know if anyone is taping these gigs? Was gonna ask on boards later
-
The 15th is sold out
-
Could the demos be put up? Also, if it's invite only any chance of throwing one my way pls

Does no-one want Edwards?
