  1. Why would you want to watch women's football when there's world class football on in Italy, England and Spain weekly? Sincerely, can never work this out about Americans, girls are shocking to watch play (bar Martha, she's decent). And they have no respect for tradition, no swapping shirts :P

  2. I work for my college newspaper and was wondering what was the best way to approach them for an interview. I'm based in Ireland and Wilco are playing here for 2 nights in a small venue ( can't be more than 1,500 ) twice so I'm assuming that the demand for interviews won't be astronomic because they're not that popular over here (gigs haven't sold out yet). My college is the biggest in Ireland and the paper is the biggest on campus thus it's the biggest university newspaper in Ireland so I was wondering how I could coax Jeff, John an co. into an interview (with a small recess so they can sign a guitar :thumbup )

  3. The best band of the 90's????? In all fairness thats just nonsense and as for whining about country songs, I wasn't, I said I didn't like UT that much and that some of their songs were so stereotypical to their genre

  4. I really hate Jay's voice and I'm not a big fan of UT. For me they haven't aged that well and I'd have a lot of trouble telling the difference between the songs. I have a compilation of em and I find most of the songs to be avarage at best. Songs like Whiskey Bottle are just like a walking Cliche of of a country band with alcohol problems.I really don't know how Wilco spawned from this . Having said that, I adore their version of I wanna be your dog

P.S. could be an age thing, was only six when A.M. was released

  5. I think the more often the song gets shouted out by drunk people, the less often it will be played.

I do love the song but when I'm sober it wouldn't be in my top ten, but when I've had a few it shoots right up the list. Requested it at a small gig in Italy last month and Jeff politely said " I don't think we'll be playing it tonight"

They should definitly add it to there setlist though

  6. When I saw them in Turin there can't have been more than 500 there and only one of the people I was speaking to there was from Italy. They're nowhere near as popular with young people her (ireland)
