great band so much fun live one of the best guitar sounds ever
-
Gin Blossoms' last record was really really good - Major Lodge Victory, from I think 2006 ... a real return to form another one will be out this fall great band with a surprisingly large catalogue that, sadly, they don't really explore during their fun but predictable live shows all their solo stuff is ace, too and really really nice guys

i remember watching this and being really disappointed with levon's version of tennessee jed too slick & the horns don't fit one of my favorite hunter-garcia songs actually & i'll take the dead's version that said, i've been a huge helm fan since i saw him at carnegie hall at one of the old WNEW christmas concerts (late 1970s?) with the RCO All-Stars hoping to get up to one of his barn concerns next year

Things I did not expect to see in the Country Music HoF
hardwood floor replied to PopTodd's topic in Someone Else's Song
I was blown away by the Country Music Hall of Fame. Expected a bunch of commercial country but it's 99 percent authentic country music -- bluegrass, mountain music, americana, roots ... extremely cool place -
