  1. the media and others focusing on palin's private family life will hand the election to mccain on a silver platter. this will be a picnic for him if people keep the ticket on the defensive for irrelevant reasons. leave her private life alone, and all the wrong reasons for her being chosen by mccain will float up to the surface on their own.

O...M...G!!! some one's figured it out!!!! :worship

  2. Mc Cain would not have made this pick for VP unless he has all of his ducks in a row.........

the ducks are........er, I mean voting machines!!!

    named Ohio, Michigan,Florida and Colorado.........

  3. Mastershake's suggestion of bringing Bennett back into the fold in a "Brian Wilson" role is actually pretty interesting. The arrangement Jeff and Jay write the songs, the band records them, O'Rourke mixes it, worked really well.

I like this alot not only in the musical sense...........but a healing of souls and egos could take place in it's wake.......

  4. that employers are expected to provide health insurance anyway? I have found employees see it less as a true "benefit", but expect it. (I realize this has changed somewhat with some companies dropping it altogether due to cost.)

Costco Wholesale rewarded their employees with stock this year for saving the Company money on health care costs. benifts are a reward and not a right.

  6. I hope everyone in Spokane had a great time, the INB has excellent acoustics.........what a kick ass setlist!!!As a former Spokanite,We can probably thank Glenn for bringing Wilco there.....I was at his solo show at the Empreyean Cafe a year ago last February......at one point he adressed the standing room only crowd..."Wow, I should bring the rest of the boys next time...." we roared at that prospect!!!

So It warms my heart to see that they finally made it there and to other mid sized cities like Spokane.....

Did any one see any tapers???? :pray

  7. He did, actually I think the best version of that song might be just the Jeff and Jay demo with Tweedy on vocals and Jay playing piano. I like Palace at 4 A.M. a lot, but the rest of Jay's solo stuff has been kind of hit or miss with me. I do miss his songwriting contributions to the Wilcos though, particularly when Jesus, etc. cues up on my ipod.
