    This is sort of interesting. Why all the Jay threads all of a sudden? I wonder.

    A-man......

     

    I think it's because people are worried for this next record. I see an overriding sense that the band is not pushing jeff enough to piss him off into that wakeful sense of "Oh....that works or dammmit.....you 're right right on that".......and Bennett was part of the blame for that .........Jeff leaned on him quite a bit early on and as jeff matured as an artist,he rebelled against Jay's sense of musical "superiority" .......and now, lyrically much of it is still there for me....but musically....meh.

    Hey guys,

     

    The last few days on the site when i visit,everthing's fine until I go to a topic.....shows the first posster's screen and avatar's just fine,but instead of being able to scroll down and liesurely read successive posts.......it now shows a compressed version of all successive posts. I f want to read them I have to click on EACH post to open and read now. Is there a plug in something or other that will restore this?

    With respect to Derek.......

     

     

    These are the kinds of things that makes Jeff go :rolleyes X 10.......which makes any kind of "reunion" less likely .

     

    For the record, I listen to everything up to YHF fairly regularly..........after, I tend to the AGIB demos and listened to SBS maybe three times. so draw your conclusions from that.

     

    AND if Jeff asked .......I suspect Jay would say "No Thanks".......not out of spite......but really he may be happy where he's at. WOW what a concept.

     

    Here's to hopin' for a Bennett-Burch tour in the near future!!! :pirate

    Had to work. but we went to a newly opened bistro afterward.

     

    enjoyed pints of Fraziskaner and Bridgeport IPA :beer

     

    next week though......headed out to the ocean to a friend's cabin....and OFF fer five days!!

     

    NOTE: FEB. 27th @ Tractor Tavern

    I take it he meant that as a joke. Clarence came from a Bluegrass background - where one does not jump around, make faces, etc.

     

     

     

    Did not mean to josh ya...........just that Clarence was really stoic in his composure on stage......his fingers and giutar stylings said all that needed to be said.....
