really cool benefit, setlist and Poster !
-
was thinking that VC might benefit from Lotti's association with ABBA . But alas, Lotti, as the rest of us: must buy a via Chicago tee shirt.
-
the VC booth / Patio-area is a great idea. Overlooking a courtyard ? very cool.
I'm planning on arriving Thursday afternoon, so please send me a PM if additional vehicles are needed to truck in ABBA sequins/ confetti .
I hope to have access to a labeler/ printer to print a bunch of Proper 1" "WELFARE" stickers to be adorned to uniform of consideration in obvious anticipation of the ABBA ...
WELFARE ! Damn, Lotti needs a T-shirt. maybe a plain white T ... : WELFARE !!! , eh?

Norris Division and Campbell conference , too. Playoff hockey intensity is great: Awesome that Ottawa is still in it.
lol , MN H.S. hockey State Championship probably has a Decent annual TV audience . .

thanks for that hockeybuz link !! wow.... all that in a game 7 .. home team tough to beat in OT !
-
If you have time - check out this Toronto-fan bulletin board. The link starts right around where Toronto scored to make it 4-1. The mood starts elated, and quickly goes down hill. What a collapse!

This Red Wings fan is so happy they get the Blackhawks one last time before the two teams are split into different conferences next year. They won't be playing each other again for a very long time. I'm just happy that I get at least 4 more Wings games to watch this year. Maybe they can steal a couple games, but I expect the Hawks to steamroll them.
Agreed, Winston..
But after a successful 20- year run against the Blackhawks; it seems like the Red Wings are getting saved by the bell in future conference play. See what a couple of Bowman's and a new Wirtz can do ?!
Red Wings beat the #2 seed ...nice

What's the parking like in N Adams? How/where do the shuttles run?
Our hotel is in Pittsfield (approx. 30 minutes away) so if anyone who's done this before can offer any advice I'd greatly appreciate it.
Hey TwoShedJackson...
I'm staying at the Williamstown Motel which is right on the shuttle route.
Our reservation of 2 adjoining double rooms should reserve at least 3 and maybe 4 parking spots.
My group will probably only need 2 spots, soo , I'm sure we can consolidate a spot.
If'n you want to look into pre-arranged free private local parking send me a PM so I could notify motel manager of my vehicles as well as yours. 45 days to go ...woot!

Eddie Murphy WAS the poor man's Richard Pryor (back when Eddie was funny).
That should read: Jamie Foxx is the poor man's Redd Foxx.
Oddly, Redd Foxx is (was) the poor man.
ty , Agreed
-
Comedically, Redd Foxx the icon Jamie and Tracy aspired to , right ?
-
Tracy Morgan is the poor man's Redd Foxx.
The Big Wheel is the poor man's Green Machine ...

Got two tickets for 7/5, Indy, immediatley in the presale. I coninuted to check for "better seats". Around 11 a.m. the map opened to the interactive "choose your own seats". I found two tickets 3 rows further back, but instead of being on the outside isle in front of speakers, we are now on the inside isle. Thought I would let the rest of you know that the LiveNation/Ticketmaster refund policy really does work and for those of you wondering if there are different ticket prices for the pavilion(s), the answer is yes, check out the Klipsch Music Center, Noblesville, IN
$95
$74.10
$52.45
Thanks for reminding me about Tenacity to search for "better tics " woot. Thanks to Calvino for confirming GA tic on sale at Toyota Park .
-
Like I said, really looking forward to seeing this show at Toyota Park - grabbed 2 GA pit tickets. Only way I would want to the show and I got lucky.
Enjoy what a drama ! I will have some nieces/ nephews in A1 : their First shows.
-
Bah! - the newly expanded Charter One would have been a much better choice. Nice line up, though -- MMJ doesn't do much for me, though - seen them twice, they were okay.
Agreed ...
-
I like Marquee Moon , too .

Sunloathe ... or any other suggestions for landslide tallys ??

Hi Lou, I'm gonna be right in the vicinity of Plumber's Hall @ *8*am Sat.; so I'll be there !
Cudos on the CHIRP Radio production efforts ( wonder if any of these quotes were of you ) :
1) rode my bicycle down Irving Park Road to Rolling Stones Records to buy .....
2) have bought albums because the covers are appealing .....
3) have given away a free album in the past because you "know" you have just made a fan of the music...
___
I recently bought and framed Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers LP "Into the Great Wide Open " again to hang on the wall.
(I'm a fan of Monet & Pierre Bonnard ( Summer: the Dance )).
But I bought on Amazon .. ... $$$ ... where are the Deals? :]
How would you advise novice collectors to proceed, Lou?
And ..8 til 10 AM earlybird $$ price is .. ?
Thanks for all your efforts ....
Joe

Perhaps the next one could be another Live recording with material from Solid Sound 3:
with requested covers , rare standards and a couple New songs included too.
Having this on the store shelves in time for the Holidays would be Really cool for 2013.
Having the "complete" album released in 2014 even better.
