Yes, from Hyde Park to 95th, great for the smallmouth fishing.

Deep fried smelt on the lakefront. Been a while. Mostly gobi in the nets lately.
Maybe we'll see if the smelts are running off the Montrose Horseshoe in April...

Upon further review, I'm gonna opt against choosing the Midas Touch!
Invincibility would be really cool. Jumping into the ocean and swimming to Tortuga or deciding to walk up Mount Everest on a whim would be nice.
But, I'll pick Animal Transmogrification Guy. Swimming a coral reef and then flying over mountains works for me!

The Midas touch could make all concert tics be located in the Front row.
Freezing Time must be used by those who produce all of the great After the Show setlists and reviews!

Our payroll taxes are an essential need to support our society. Corporate foreign investments should supplement our payroll taxes.
Quite simply, a corporate designation regarding taxation would realign global investments.
Let Capitalism Rule, just make the Corporations pay as much as we do.
Define what makes a Corporation's policies foreign and add taxation to support society.

Scott McCaughey was an awesome opener. From the front row it was easy to see that he was having as much fun as anybody else in the room.
Aw Shit Man and Days of Wine and Booze were fantastic. I would've been happy to attend if he was the headliner.
. I'm definitely a big fan now. no Ted Fucking Williams this time, but Scott McCaughey shows will definitely be on my radar!

A tour of 17,000 B.C. Petroglyphs by canoe in France ! That's an amazing trip off the beaten path for sure. Just Incredible ..
I agree, though, North Adams was great. And the last hour of a 14 hour drive certainly was rewarding. Looking forward to the next time!
My favorite drive is through West Marin Co. CA.
Westbound from Fairfax to Mill Valley you will pass thru Samuel P. Taylor St. Park, Golden Gate Nat'l Rec. Area, Mount Tamalpias State Park and Muir Woods Nat'l Monument.
Having grown up in the flat and perpendicular grid of the Midwest, the first time I drove over the Golden Gate Bridge onto what seemed like Hwy 101 Roller Coaster was soo much Fun!!

It's a fun thing to hear somebody else wrangle about the nutritional benefits of dark chocolate almonds.
I work at a chocolate factory and I convince myself of these facts very often.
Sometimes, I try to eat healthier: chocolate covered raisins.

I'm thankful for great options...
If the wait for a table is too long at Lou Malnati's for a deepdish pizza,
Leona's filet mignon bacon & bleu cheese sliders will suffice !
Happily awaiting the new Lagunitas Brewery in Chicago. WilcoTangoFoxtrot. Maybe a seasonal Solid Sound brew in 2015 !

I'm thankful for my cat Obama. A cool cat that's now mine because I asked a question to which I didn't know the answer.
I stopped by a niece's birthday party and because I hadn't yet picked up a gift, I asked her what she wanted for her birthday present.
She informed me, in front of all in attendance, her stray cat needs a home !
I decided on the name Obama because my niece's Bday is Nov 4th (election day) and the year was 2008.
( this cat is a Russian Blue, an all grey cat ... 1/2 black 1/2 white, soo there's that, too )
I had seen this cat before at my sister's house while sitting around a backyard campfire. When a chair emptied she was on it instantly and enjoyed the warmth of the fire alongside us.
After a few weeks of settling in at her new home she went into heat.
Omg, the howling. The " save the species " Howling !!
I had to wait a week for an appt. to get her treated. At that point, the Vet informed that she was appx. 11 months old, so I deduced her Bday to be Jan 8th.. Elvis' Bday .. ( yes, female cat. no, not Michelle )

The Solid Sound '13 Owl poster is still outta stock. That would make a great holiday gift. I'm keeping mine!
Good time to add to the t-shirt collection. 18 is tops, right? I'm lookin' at the frog T next...

A few new tunes at the solo shows would be fantastic for those in attendance. However, new Wilco songs played by Jeff solo probably would be countermanding in regards about any release of a JT solo project of this tour... Still, I'm hoping for at least one !! The Largo stage has gotta be a consideration for filming ...

Yes, I ordered Baseball Project Vols.1&2 yesterday, thanks.
Searched YouTube for "Ted Fucking Williams" !
TED, Ted, ted Fuckin Williams . Great 3-part harmony.
Thinkin' of 3-part harmonies, let's hope to hear Arlo Guthrie on Thankgiving Day !
howdjadoo, great map of the Minus 5 network.. not many any of these musicians with more than 3 degrees of separation.

Being a mind-reading parrot, I would pontificate each night's playlist while waiting in line.
I will raise many eyebrows and of course, there will be some naysayers as I predict covers of Get Lucky and Waterloo.
As I pluck more songs out of thin air, many are happy to hear promises of Cinnamon Girl and Surrender, And your Bird Can Sing.
