Yeah, I checked that itunes stuff. And have now tried just writing a text document to a cd, but no luck. The cd writing wizard ejected the cd and said that the writing failed and the cd may be usable. At this point I think I will have the geek squad check it out. They do stuff like this right? Any other advice?

I have just been burning music and movies with itunes.

My computer's dvd/cd burner has broken. Why? I have no idea. I make a play list hit burn and then it burns and itunes says it its done, but the cds will not play anywhere. So I was wondering if any of you audio files, or anyone else, has any advice on which type of new burner? internal or external is ok with me.

What email did you send the pictures to? I have a photo that will kick all your photos butts in more ways than one. Maybe now you will not tell me what the email is. Actually my picture sucks.

I just got my ticket in the mail today. I am rather excited! It is even a gold souvenir one.

Yes. Any thoughts on Ronaldinho's move? I am apprehensive about it. It is always good to have match winners on the team, but as Real Madrid can testify to, to many can be a bad thing. If he and Kaka can form an effective partnership than it will be great. As Buffon says Milan have something to prove this season, so will be the most dangerous team in Italy.

I was also a few people to the left, and front of the chicken man. He must of been burning up in that suit.

Add more pictures, I was right in front of you in Wilco shirt. Some one was there was actually wearing the same shirt. Was it you?

Me too! I am really only looking forward to the headliners. Will that destroy all my 'indie' cred?

Italy is second, (in the World Rankings, but not worries) because it is an average (or some weird formula) over 4 years, so yes there is hang over from the World Cup. I do not put much weight into these rankings anyway. I think we need to have an intervention is you are going to become a 'pool fan. Of English teams they are the one team I have feelings about, bad feelings. I think they are a love um' or hate um team. So I hope we can all come together and convince you other wise. Here is a video about Liv' boy Stevie G

So yes all of my predictions were wrong, but I can still defend them. But won't . I did not get to see the Italy game live, so had to watch it on tape, but ESPN cut most of the second half, so I missed from 45-80 mins. So I cannot really say anything about the game. The penalty selections of the Italians were terrible, not having Pirlo made a huge impact in that situation. I am glad Holland were dropped out by one of their own, in Hiddink. I will make not predictions about the final match up. No player, out side of the the Russian forward Andrei Arshavin has made a name for himself in this

Well, it did happen, and I could not be happier. The next round games all seem very good on paper. Portugal-Germany: Croatia-Turkey: Netherlands-Russia: Spain-Italy. I choose Portugal, Croatia, Netherlands, and Italy.

Has everyone else noticed how terrible the commentators are? It seems like they all need to take a ref course because they constantly criticize the officials, only to have UEFA come out and say that the officials did it correctly the next day. If only they had a certified ref there to tell them to shut it. Or even on the little things, the commentators seem to have no idea what officials are calling. (Who can guess how I spend my Sunday mornings?) Hopefully Italy can sneak into the next round with a win.

So with all the seasons over how does everyone feel? I am pissed that AC only got fifth. Bolton stayed up, I still do not now how, and United won the league, and now the Champions league. Not a very good game. Pens are always exciting, but other than that not great football. (I saw the other thread, but well you know) Any interesting buys that you all know of?

After reading all 8 things why my generation is dumb I feel like this guy does not know what he is talking about. Reasons 6. Don't retain information (who needs to?),3. Can't spell, 1. "Jaywalking'' gaps in knowledge are all about the same thing. Rather than needing to store information, my generation stores the information about where to find more information. Why know who the king of England was in 1492 (Henry VII), when one can just go online and find his whole biography? The other points are kind of cop outs. Blame video games, parents, and peer pressure. These things get blamed for all th

I am excited about Flamini, not only because he is a good player, but also because it shows a shift in direction. Milan are going to go after some good, young player this summer, which is what they need to do. I don't get it, people say Milan are to old, yet when they go get younger players they say it was a bad idea. How can these both be true?
-
With the final set who will win? I think at this point it is 50-50, but in three weeks the tide could turn depending on injuries, and who wins the league. I honestly cannot call it one way or the other. Which Milan team do you think Flamini is more likely to end up with? I have heard a lot about him and Inter, along with Helb, but now AC have entered the mix. This summer should be interesting, with lots of big name moves.

This made me chuckle. I see no problem with the plates as long as anyone can get whatever they want on their plates. If a FSM practitioner wanted a noodely appendage on theirs, or a neo-nazi Hitler identity cult wanted a pic of the fuhrer, or a polygamist wanted a picture of a pregnant 12 year old. Everyone should get to design their own plates.

I would agree I saw his pic on BBC front page and for a second I thought it was Pat.

I really want to see the original 1922 version of Nosferatu, and have looked on amazon. There are about 8 different versions and all teh reviews are mixed together. The people reviewing on amazon try to specify which version they have, but no one says what version to get instead. Does anyone here have a good copy? If so which version?

It was a good show. The music was alright, but entertaining.

Are we ever gonna see Jeff sing the 7th inning stretch
Griddles replied to jdmel's topic in Just A Fan
That seems just a bit extreme. -
I just returned from a Colin Meloy (of The Decemberists) concert and he made a big deal about the altitude in Boulder, CO. Many shows I have been to here in CO the band has made a comment about the altitude and it is really annoying. I do not remember if Wilco did or not. My friend from Texas says that most acts make comments about the heat there. So my question is: what annoying location statements do bands make where you see shows? Also, if someone can think of a better topic title let me know.
