  2. Vedder is a HUGE Who fan, they have always done the who covers well. I missed this unfortunately. Is it on Youtube?

that one is not up, VH1 copy right police!

but you can find other good versions, such as camden 6/19/08, or MSG 6/24/08

my favorite who cover ed/pj does is Im one

there are a few good versions floating around

going to see vedder solo on 6/12 at the ole tower theater in PA

    very psyched, 10c seats too!

    yipppeee!

  3. Which GD songs would you guys like to hear Wilco cover? off the top of my head i'd love to hear Box Of Rain or Cumberland Blues

    ripple

it must have been the roses (Jeff solo-he could belt that one out)

U.S. blues (I know, not a favorite, but wilco could twist it just right)

    samson

    greatest story

I think wilco could do justice to just about any Dead tune, except maybe dark star :lol

  4. the showbox DVD is great because of the setting and the energy

But the quality of the italy DVD (immagine in cornice )makes it #1 as far as the concert DVDs go-and the backstage stuff is great

single video theory is actually my favorite

touring band, live at the garden, showbox, SVT, and immagine are all great

  5. Shoreline 5/14/09-looks like a good one

Standing on the Moon (First 2 Verses) > Lady with a Fan > Terrapin Station > Standing on the Moon

    Set 2:

    Encore:

Scarlet Begonias > Fire on the Mountain, Deal

  6. I really liked both IZOD shows with Brandford, 2nd night of worcester was good as well. Chicago night 2 was good. I haven't listened past the chicago dates.

If you want some of the shows email me at mattmc1986@yahoo.com

    agreed

also 4/25 at MSG and 5/2 at the spectrum were really good as well

  7. What's with all this cryptic "tweet" stuff and putting tickets on sale the second a show is announced? It was cute a first, but enough already. As someone who has sworn off the Pearl Jam message board (due to the obnoxious fanatics) I hate to think that the sane fans may eventually miss out on tickets due to the fact that we don't post/ hangout there anymore.

hahaha you know the pit well

    it is annoying

check your emails, if you get the tweet reminder, its likely that a show is going on sale the next business day-more shows should be announced in the next few weeks

but seriously, why cant they just announce the entire tour along with a staggered onsale schedule? Its not like they will have trouble selling tickets- I just dont know.

  8. When I saw Ratdog a couple summers ago, Liberty was the only song all night that Bobby didn't speak-sing his way through--he really went all out on it. So for at least one night Liberty seemed the most rocking song ever. :lol

never really cared for the song when the dead played it

but I really like when ratdog does

    strange but true

  9. Gimme Shelter might have been Phil's suggestion. I seem to recall P&F playing that at the show I saw here in '06 and it was very good.

yeah P&F has played it a couple of times

I think phil chose the setlist last night-but that is just a guess

  10. interestingly enough

no space last night at MSG

    decent show, fun time

a few highlights, but I wasnt blown away

warren is better than I expected
