What exactly do you mean by being difficult? Is it hard for him, or the people at the venue? -

I love this guy, especially his first album, and he's got a new one coming out (Gossip in the Grain), which I am very much looking forward to. Ticket's for him at Chicago Theater are close to $40, which is pretty high for me, but I am willing. Has anyone seen him live before? I hear he like's to separate himself from the audience, so that's kind of discouraging, but nonetheless all his live recordings sound just as passionate as his album. Anyone else interested?

Nike runs sweatshops right? I mean, everybody knows this by now. Not to be a turd in a punch bowl, but kind of strange that Tweedy would support such an organization

Yeah, I saw John Mayer at summerfest, and though I had a great time, it was really hard to get into it being in the back rows, to get that connection

What do you guys think about Wilco's live performances, are they better in smaller venues or just as good in larger? I only ask because I know some bands are miles better in smaller venues, though i assume Wilco is great in both. When the Chicago residency tickets sold out so fast, i really wished they would have played at the united center or something, but maybe that sacrifices a lot?

So was it canceled or delayed?

From his website: New Albums, New Shows, New Kotches Glenn's had a busy summer. First of all, On Fillmore's newest record has finished the mixing stage and Glenn describes the album as "7 songs taking the band to beautiful, odd and very interesting places that they've never been to before." He also spent time in the studio with Andrew Bird and Todd Sickafoose for an upcoming Bird record (read more about the recording process here). As if that weren't enough, Glenn's also been recording with Wilco, hashing out ideas for LP7. In the midst of all this, Glenn and his wife, Miiri, welcomed their

I think the only thing it missed was One True Wine and Let's Not Get Carried Away; I like those songs more than a few on the album and adding them to the playlist really completes it
