  1. I got an email Obama is really white & black, not black and white. I'm pissed!
  2. Totally kidding, although I secretly hope she becomes a rock star so I don't have to help pay her way thru college. She's only 3 though, so she has some time. I watched that VH1 reality show about being a kid star with that red headed dude from that band on the bus show from the 70's. Stage moms are wack man! The worst are the beauty pagent moms. I hope to never become one of them crazy gals.
  3. Yuck. I'd never vote someone into office that drinks that crappy crap. I'm ashamed Bud Light is the #1 beer choice of this country. Just what in the world does the world think of us because of that?
  4. Now wonder she has such high approval ratings in her home town. I hear she throws some darn good picnics as well...sure to go over well with foreign diplomats.
  5. When is Obama going to realize how to win this election? Soon I hope. Maybe lipstick and a cute conservative dress would help? Or, perhaps going after Palin/Mccain, (and I stress the use of Palin first) and ignoring the issues like everyone else. Issues smishues.
  6. Why sure, but wear some pretty lipstick when you do. But, wait until we use him to when the election first!
  7. You got my vote. And yes, I'm a babe from certain angles. Like I said yesterday, I can see the Milky Way from my hammock in Missouri. I was told by many VC'ers this qualifies me to run the whole damn galaxy. I will work with you to ensure everyone here on VC has their job of choice in Washinghton...and some other swell boring political stuff.

  9. C'mon, that can't be real. I think I would pay to see this live though. Drugs... people need to get off em, while some need to be on more!
  10. I may need to drink some wine first, but I will watch it. Edit: is that for real Viatroy? It can't be...
  11. I'm keeping an eye on O' Reilly because he sways so many voters, but he seems a bit soft on Obama. I read the owner of Fox, Murdoch is an Obama supporter. May not vote for him, but likes him. It could be an O'Reilly trick though... Present yourself as a reasonable person by defending O against clearly bogus accusations. Then, when you attack him later on more bigger issues than lipstick, it will be more effective.
  12. Someone posted a pic from this insane stuff on another thread & it brought back bad memories from watching this scary movement. Why I want God and religion out of politics...
  13. I think it was assumed I was arguing a point against you, but it was against the uneducated non-voter who just decides not to vote cause it sounds like he's taking a stand, when in fact he is not. You have already said "I'm torn between a write-in and Obama, actually." So I am aware you are doing your homework. If you still decide not to vote, write in a vote, or vote Obama, @ least your decision has some substance.
  14. This discussion stems from defending someone who isn't voting for anything because no one represents this person. All politicians are the same argument.
  15. My only point of that post was to make fun of Paris for being a voice during Rock the Vote times, only to not vote. Other than that, you should not vote with your heart. Vote with your educated mind. Second, vote for the country's ( or town, state) best interest, not just your own. I realy can't believe with so many votes to cast among state, local, and national elections, there isn't one person a non-voter will vote for. No one is good enough?
  16. OMG, it's hot not to vote! Thanking my lucky stars not everyone votes...
  17. I feel the same way about some people doing this, but not the majority. You shouldn't have to say your sorry though . What I do like about this board is all the different views. If it were any different, without some silliness and trouble makers, than it would be very boring.
  18. 3,126,543 views! This just confirms my brillant idea of training my kid to be on American Idol instead of investing in her education for the next 16-24 years.
