Hey I bought into it too! In fact I hate to admit it, but I had this schadenfreuden moment, where I was reading every page of the thread like it was a novel, and just getting blown away at how two freinds had come to blows after one night of drunken beligerance. I never posted over there and I dont post much here but your absolutely right about his site. I read a lot of your posts and I always admired the way you stood up for Tweedy/Wilco. Oh and your post about the drunken night at the Two Car Garage show was classic!

THe lack of information on his site was very upsetting. I have seen garage bands with better webistes than his.

The jayfarrar.net site appears to be down or gone altogether... I think Tweedy might be behind this!

His name is Mark Spencer and yes he is the spitting image of Gerard Depardeu (sic) probably best known as the lead in the move Green Card...Spencer is playing keys, lap steel and for the very first time ever in public, Pedal Steel...This is the first time SV has had pedal steel in it's live sets since Eric Heywood joined them in the sudio and on tour many years ago.

I cant believe I had to go to the second page to find a thread about SV...Whats wrong with you people? They are tearing it up on this new tour... Jay has brought the twang back to the Volt... Not that it ever really left... Cant wait to see Jay again next week... Denton wielcomes you with open arms my friend!!! Now if we can just get Tweedy to make it down here!!! My dream gig is to open for Neil. But then I would be too tempted to rip into Cortez the Killer midway thru the set. Good Luck boys. I am envious.
