by far, this class has had some of the hardest things for me to read.

i'm sure it will be however, i'm avoiding my ac/dc project like this.

you know, when i said that i was looking forward to the section on richard wright, i meant i was looking forward to reading his fiction, see b/c i thought we were reading about african american literature & i didn't realize that meant reading the politcal readings of the authors. my bad.

i grew up in a haunted house. it was a stop on the underground railroad and some family memebers had died there as a result of smoke inhalation. the mother, dale, who died would often speak to my mother & i was content to spend hours in the basement in what felt like it was crowded. it was freaky but very cool.

I ain't proud of it - and I know some people view me as a psycho - but I am actually not into violence.

yeah you're screaming psycho when i read your posts. (you have to know i'm joking right?!?)

self defense against a parent sucks, but now my mom & i are fine. i am a little nervous about her upcoming trip to israel to volunteer on an army base.

i don't think i was ever spanked as a child, though i most likely deserved it! i do remember one time where my father was yelling at me (i come from a family of yellers), i was around 5, and boy did i think i was gonna get it!!! so i'm running up the stairs, trying to get to my room before he catches me, which he did in fact, and tickled me so freakin hard, i pissed my pants.

to this day, i don't like ANYONE walking up stairs behind me.

i was also grounded for a large portion of my childhood

i don't think i'm having children so i don't really have an opinion about this.

Sadly 16 inch softball is even starting to be less popular here in Chicago. Like many traditions, this one is disappearing.

 

BTW you do play 16 inch softball with no gloves, which is a skill in and of itself.

not really lou. each sports company that sponsors teams have 16" leagues & they fill up quite quickly. all you have to do is check out half the parks around town in the summer & fall to see them.

i tried all sorts of things, it was weird. i wound up putting the images on a cd. the whole thing was just silly!!!

I usually transfer the photos over easily. hmmmm...you should try it again the right way.

i need them to go to the camera from the pc, maybe if i had actually said that, i'd get a little help

anyone know how to put files on a memory stick for a digital camera? they show up on the stick when the camera is attached to the computer but i disconnect it & turn it on, they are not there.
