Thrasher's Wheat "Cortez The Killer" - Washington, DC, May 24, 2010 (video) It's totally weird to hear him play that song solo on electric guitar. I suppose I am so use to hearing the Rust Never Sleeps version - as it was the first one I ever heard - way back in the day.
-
That's right - we have mentioned that movie before around here. King of the Mountain (1981) - another one that a lot of people may not know about.
-
I don't think he ever says much about it.
-
Do you remember Kid Blue (1973)?

I don't think all reunions are bad, I just think it is fouled when some of the key players are gone - such as, the lead singer. It's pretty standard these days though. I am surprised they did not go find a Rod Stewart impersonator to do the job.

Supposedly, Peter and Dennis based their characters on Roger Mcguinn and David Crosby. I think Rebel Without A Cause was his first film.

(I was just reading Shakey again earlier - the part about Dennis on the set of Human Highway.)

Rolling Stones' Exile On Main Street Week
Analogman replied to u2roolz's topic in Someone Else's Song
People have always given me record albums - since I was a little kid. Although, I suppose it has not happened in a while now. The dude who gave me the Exile record bought it the day it came out, but I don't think he played it very often - as it was in good shape when he gave the record to me back in the early 1990s. I think a lot of times the records I received were going to be thrown away. Instead, they were given to me. -

Do you think the speed has changed? To me, it sounds slower. I have an original pressing. I have not heard it in a long time though. -

I keep finding a lot of posts like this out there: I wonder what the Hoffman folks have to say? -
He can sing - but this is not The Faces. They should call the band Ronnie Wood's All Stars Featuring some Old British Dudes, and one of those Punk Rock assholes, and some other British dude.

Thanks for posting.

Dudes - I have no idea who that is, and I am not interested in taking any audio file test. I am going to say this again - there is a difference between lossless and lossy files. One of the protocols that they we are usually asked in follow when we decide to participate in live show trading, is that we pass the shows around as lossless files. As they were originally shared. If someone wants to take the FLAC files and turn them into Mp3 files for their own personal use, they are free to do so. It is not hard to do, if people want to do that, they can do it themselves. If you do som

All I can tell you is that you may want to read some stuff about live show trading, and lossy verses lossless files. We are not talking about sound quality, and I disagree with your view on that anyhow.

Yes. One of the reasons The Wilco Live Show Archive was created was so people who can not do Bit Torrent can get the lossless FLAC or SHN files, the very say files that those who do Bit Torrent are getting. Bit Torrent is no big deal - once you get the hang of it. If you simply can not do it, then that is how it goes. I am able to do BT - that may change, who knows. You also have to know that I am a collector, and I am attempting to provide for those who will come looking for a show down the road. At the bottom of a lot of torrent pages you will often find the following: Now, if

I like to watch Midnight Special clips and see how many I can remember seeing. Just imagine - a music show where bands and performers played live music. I think I saw this one:

I don't know. Just one of those people I have heard since I was a kid, and never got into. When it comes to country music, I like to listen to Buck Owens.

He was on Larry King a while back - it was a pretty funny interview. He actually played here where I live recently. It sold out very quickly. I think he has a new album out of cover songs. I guess he played some of those at the show.
