  1. Wilco Archive Update – June 4 2010
  2. I did a quick count on our Wilco Live Show Archive spreadsheet the other day, and that is what I came up with. It could be that I did not count the Jeff solo shows, but since most of those were benefit shows, I doubt we will see a tape from those shows anyhow.
  3. I think there are several sources for that show up at bt.etree.org. There are well over 400 Jerry shows there. I doubt all of them are being seeded, but they are listed there. I have never really heard any of his solo stuff - except for the Legion of Mary show I have.
  4. Furthur Closes Festival, Plays Live Rehearsal Show Wild and wacky stuff.
  5. I think there are around 29 shows from the past tour that have yet to appear.
  6. I believe I saw Human Highway and '68 on Cinemax back in the early 1990s. Goin' Back
  7. What you can do is search this section of the message board: Via Chicago>Greatest Lost Track of All Time These Bit Torrent sites: bt.etree.org Dime A Dozen.org Hunger City.org Pure Live Gigs.com The Trader's Den.org Zomb Torrents.com Or check: Bootsdaily.com A site that searches well-known legal torrent sites. Use the search box to look for the band you are interested in finding. As far as I know, the show has not appeared.
  8. I think the length is just fine. But then, I don't worry about the length of songs. It is what it is. Even more weird - for those who have never seen it: Neil Young and Devo "Hey Hey, My My"
  9. I think I mainly like the groove in Ordinary People.
  10. Speaking of that - some Jerry solo material: Taper's Section (May 31 - June 6, 2010)
  11. It was suppose to be "early June" according to The Jayhawks fanpage.
  12. That is about as weird as watching people dance to Ohio. The two Neil songs I have been into lately: Interstate and Ordinary People.
  13. Jayhawks founder Olson recalls Bunkhouse debut Has anyone heard the re-release? How is the sound? I have not seen any release dates for the re-masters of Hollywood Town Hall and Tomorrow The Green Grass. I have to say those are two of my favorite albums of all time.
  14. I have been listening to the Buffalo Springfield boxset today. Neil and his team did a heck of a job on the sound. I wish they would have done the same for all of the albums and re-released them. (Only the first two were re-mastered.)
  15. Over 1,200 Fans Turn Ronnie James Dio's Funeral into Celebration Black Sabbath, Queensryche members attend Ronnie James Dio's funeral Ronnie James Dio memorial service: Heavy metal fans drown out Westboro Baptist Church Picketers
  16. Not really something I would normally watch, but, I actually watched House of 1000 Corpses (2003) and The Devil's Rejects (2005) this weekend. Rob Zombie is one messed up dude.
  17. Thrasher's Wheat "Cortez The Killer" - Washington, DC, May 24, 2010 (video) It's totally weird to hear him play that song solo on electric guitar. I suppose I am so use to hearing the Rust Never Sleeps version - as it was the first one I ever heard - way back in the day.
  18. That's right - we have mentioned that movie before around here. King of the Mountain (1981) - another one that a lot of people may not know about.
  19. I don't think he ever says much about it.
  20. I don't think all reunions are bad, I just think it is fouled when some of the key players are gone - such as, the lead singer. It's pretty standard these days though. I am surprised they did not go find a Rod Stewart impersonator to do the job.
  21. Supposedly, Peter and Dennis based their characters on Roger Mcguinn and David Crosby. I think Rebel Without A Cause was his first film.
  22. (I was just reading Shakey again earlier - the part about Dennis on the set of Human Highway.)
