I was wondering about this: Eko Turned Down Finale Guest Spot After seeing all of those commercials for ABC's new shows, I'd say they are screwed. Lost ratings (EW.com) That is nowhere near the MASH and Cheers numbers.

The Invention of Morel by Adolfo Bioy Casares I always knew what the last scene would be - or should I say next to the last scene.

The guy driving the Oceanic van looks familiar. I was hoping we were going to get a Geronimo Jackson concert.

I feel your pain. As I have said before, I have bought some cds 3 or 4 times. I have always liked Fables Of The Reconstruction (the second R.E.M. album I ever heard - Life's Rich Pageant was the first - both on original vinyl pressings.) I've never heard any of the other re-issues. I recall when they came out, as there was discussion about the cds around here. It seems to me what we are seeing these days is the so-called "deluxe re-issue".

There was a time when Ozzy use to throw chucks of meat into the audience. Also, he learned that sign from his Grandmother. It does not really have anything to do with Satan, per se. I believe they need to hire better researchers.

I can't believe it's open to the public. They are going to be overran by hessian dudes and Anton LaVey freaks.

I have not heard anything so far.

Rolling Stones' Exile On Main Street Week
Analogman replied to u2roolz's topic in Someone Else's Song
Don Was Revisits 'Exile On Main Street' I am listening to some FLAC files that someone gave me. The tracks are definitely running at a different speed now. Also, you can hear the bass. I'd say my first thought is that there is more depth to the sound, instead of the flatness of past versions. It may be a tad too bright sounding though. It's neat they left some tape hiss in there. -
There were some preview tracks posted at some point. I have no interest in buying it. He must be paying for all of this himself.

I noticed some PJ shows appeared on bt.etree.org today.

Black Sabbath Deluxe Editions I love all of that jazz jamming on the first album. That is one of the reasons it is my favorite. I have an original pressing of it on vinyl.

I'd agree about the first side of Sabotage. On Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, I really like A National Acrobat, Spiral Architect, and Sabbra Cadabra. You know shit is weird when Bill Ward gets a song on the album. Guns N' Roses use to cover It's Alright. Never Say Die! is better than Technical Ecstasy, that's for sure. You know the story about Live Evil - which is why Ronnie left the first time.
