  1. I still think a lot of record companies, bands, managers, etc. don't understand the difference between tape trading (B & P or BT), and people selling bootlegs. Although, there are still bootlegs out there to buy. In Japan, there are entire stores devoted to bootlegs. I suppose I just don't get the fact that they allow taping, but only hand held taping. Some bands allow taping, but don't allow their shows to be traded by way of BT sites. I guess it is just their way of trying to keep people from selling their shows. Is there a large market for Pearl Jam bootlegs (that is people sel
  2. I've seen Pearl Jam shows up at Dime a Dozen and other BT sites. The only stipulation at Dime a Dozen is the following: Not allowed - I've never heard any of the shows though. I have a few of the official bootlegs. Their thinking is fouled when it comes to such things - just like the Allman Brothers Band.
  3. You mean the officially released SBD sourced live cds, not AUD tapes, right? I still find their taping policy weird.
  4. People have UT on the brain these days, which is cool. Any Tupelo so far on the 2010 Tour? But - I can't see the current version of Wilco playing those songs. They have several albums of Wilco songs to play. If you want to hear some live UT songs, why not seek out some UT live shows. There are several out there to be had. If you just want to hear Jeff doing a live version of Gun, or some other UT song, go to Wilcobase, look up the song, and then click on the date for that show where the song was played. If there is a source for the show, it will be listed at the bottom of the page u
  5. Pearl Jam has a funny rule about taping. They only allow hand held recording devices only, no external mics, etc. There is this site: Sidewalk Crusaders. I do know that Eddie Vedder solo shows are not allowed on Dime a Dozen. I don't know why though. If you dig around a bit, you can probably find an answer.
  6. Road Trips (Wikipedia entry with information about each release) I have Volume 1 Number 3 and Volume 3 Number 2. I got those as that is the time period I am into.
  7. According to the torrent of the show that just appeared, this is the set list:
  8. Rock star Sammy Hagar’s alien visitations (I don't think this is exactly a new story though, as I recall reading something about him and this story a few years ago.)
  9. Like this neat little jam: Aladdin’s Story I recently heard this - You Got The Silver (Mick vocal)
  10. I don't think it is very good. It's definitely a new vocal (plus other things) over an old track. Rolling Stones - Plundered My Soul (Youtube link) I am all for bonus tracks, but I am not a fan of tracks that have been messed with years and years past the time when they were made.
  11. That show has been posted a few times. According to the db.etree.org link for the Wilco show that day, some of the Black Crowes did play with Wilco. I've never seen the Wilco show from that date - but it must be out there somewhere. I finally got the Cabin Fever DVD the other day.
  12. If nothing else, it will be cool to hear the AUD tapes. I would think some of the show will be no taping though, as I bet they will be filming some of them for a DVD release. If they don't do that, I will be surprised.
  13. I guess the people in Seattle got a bonus: Pearl Jam Joins Team Conan on Tour, Covers Lennon and the Who
  14. 20 years - minus the years the band broke up, and hired and fired various members. I hope to see them sometime. SAY GOODNIGHT TO THE BAD GUYS is a reference to an episode of The Trailer Park Boys.
  15. I did not catch the Human Fund deal.
  16. I caught that right away.
  17. Lessons Of The Dead (Lefsetz Letter) Taper's Section (April 19 - April 25, 2010)
  18. Review & Set list: Soundgarden triumphantly rides the reunion snake during its return to the stage
  19. I just looked for the heck of it. Some record store has one on there already - it's at 99 bucks after two bids.
  20. That is a somewhat weird Dark Star. I like it. Grateful Dead Live at Crystal Ballroom on 1968-02-02
  21. Acoustic Album on the Way from The Black Crowes
  22. That does not make a whole lot of sense.
