  1. All the Webcast sources shows we have came from BT sites - except for whatever ones you uploaded there. (I think that is right). Speaking for myself, I am not interested in Mp3 files of a Webcast. It seems lately that Webcast rips have just been shared around here - maybe that is good enough. It's this deal:
  2. I always thought the Lou Reed segment was not so great. He was reading the words off a music stand, and did not really seem to know the song.
  3. The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration The Genuine Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary Celebration (4 DVDs) It was shown on PBS in 1993. I taped it, and recall watching it a few time, but I don't think I have seen since then.
  4. Do you take a lot of naps? (I think I have Deliverin' on vinyl.)
  5. I must have been thinking of something else he said sometime last year. It was Poco, not The Eagles.
  6. I read his blog everyday. The last time he mentioned Wilco, he compared the band to The Eagles (if I recall correctly). I like a lot of what he has to say, but I disagree with him about some things.
  7. Desmond episodes are always the best. I just had my own LOST moment. During the commercial, I flipped to the History Channel. I saw the dude who gave me my very first live Wilco show on a show about the shape of the U.S. states. And now I am posting in a LOST thread on a Wilco message board. Far out.
  8. Lucasfilm plans animated 'Star Wars' series
  9. Don't forget to go to The Strip District.
  10. Catch A Sneak Peek Of Crimson, White & Indigo At A Theatre Near You Listening Party: Philly '89 Taper's Section (April 5 - April 11, 2010)
  11. Here's a thread that lists the sources out there: Amsterdam 2009 Show How to record a web stream (Google.com) Some reasons why you man not find such sources out there very often:
  12. There is a bunch of threads in the music section about record players: Looking For A Good Record Player Set Up Buying a record player what do you suggest Speakers for record player recommendation? The powers that be should pin a thread about such things - record players, headphones, etc. If you buy cheap record players at department stores, you are probably wasting your money.
  13. I always like to hear the first album when the weather turns nice.
  14. I never got into them, but I really like The Marshall Tucker Band.
  15. I like the version that is on the box set.
  16. I'll put the other one up at some point.
  17. I posted that mainly due to the frustration a couple people here have had trying to post a Webcast sourced show at Dime a Dozen. There is no need for someone else to go through the same deal.
  18. Ok - I don't know if this is the same version that is on the covers compilation or not. To me they sound different. This one is about 50 seconds longer. I ripped this from WAV to FLAC from a cd I have called "Various Black Crowes Songs". The Black Crows - Dreams
  19. What I have seen lately is that only a few get the webcast - due to the fact it only gets posted here. I think if someone wants it, they should figure out how to capture the stream and record it themselves. I am not really a fan of webcasts, that is, messing with them for archival purposes. I suppose we are technically in the clear, as they have no language that bans anyone from doing so. You know this already, so I don't need to tell you. But, I will post it again:
  20. Chicago (Tanglewood, Lenox, MA. - July 21, 1970)
  21. Crowesbase gave me 79 shows when I searched. Of course, not all of them feature Jimmy Herring.
  22. I can see what he is saying. It seems that way due to the length of Mountain Jam.
  23. I am going out of town over the next few days. I may get to it tonight - if I have time. I am going to dig around on Crowesbase and see if I can figure out the date. I don't think it is the version from the Cover Me With A Good Dream compilation. I think it may be from this show: 14 March 2006 - Fox Theater - Atlanta, GA
  24. When I looked it up, the news stories I found noted the show as being on The Discovery Channel. Interesting.
