I've never heard of that show. I would think ABC will be scrambling to keep the audience they have gained from LOST. They should have a show called Lonesome Town. Rick Nelson (as a ghost, of course) could be the guy who helps people that suddenly find themselves in a deserted town in the middle of nowhere.

Not yet. Keep an eye on this section of Via Chicago: Via Chicago>Greatest Lost Track of All Time

That one also - anything but Gun.

Thanks for posting.

Hopefully, the only thing left does not get the axe. I always thought is was sort of odd to yell about people filming, but not those taking photos throughout the whole show. I would think the use of flash had something to do with it.

Thanks dudes. Interesting episode. Not what I thought it was going to be though.

Analogman posted a link to a thread in the BT section of Via Chicago. The torrent of the show consist of what was broadcast. Analogman posted that to let people know they do not have to stay up half the night to watch Wilco on Austin City Limits. They can just grab it. Analogman has a few other thoughts, but he will keep them to himself for now. The one posted in December is still active. I don't know if the one at Tape City is or not. Tape City is actually shutting down at the end of March.

I was thinking the day after Record Store Day.

Was there a time period mentioned in the scene with Richard and his wife? I missed some parts of it. I always figured he got there that way.
-
This show has been up on a couple of torrent sites for a while now. If anyone wants it.

I think it has been that way for a long time. Wilco Show Info and Policies I guess it was recently updated. It now includes all cameras.

There was such a thing. Off the top of my head, I do know that Zappa used a 24 track tape machine to record some shows. I may not buy this on vinyl, but still, I was at one of those shows, so the album will always mean something to me. I do know that the film footage was actually film, and not video or digital.

I think the place to hear Jeff do his UT songs is at solo shows. I would like to hear Fatal Wound. I agree - I can't seem him doing any UT songs that Jay sang or wrote. Bob Dylan does Moonshiner better anyhow.

I think Gemm and Ebay have jacked up the prices. I have some cds and albums I see going for hundreds of dollars on there.
-
I think I have been reading a lot of views that seem to go along with this one: I have not bothered buying them. If you count the actual records albums I got when I was a kid, I think I have owned/still do own 3 or 4 versions of those albums already.
-
I don't know if I would be interested in any recent stuff. I mean, I think I played that last album twice.

The only sources to appear so far are one for the 4/6/2007 show, and one for the 2/13/2009 show. I've never seen any of the other shows out there anywhere.

I think all of that turned out to be something in his head, and not something that was actually going to happen. I can't recall exactly. Ok - that was in 2007. It looks like he is posting again: Blackhole

Several years ago now, I use to be able to buy new cds for 7 or 8 bucks. Universal betting on lower prices to boost CD sales

Not to be confused with the Hoyt Axton song of the same name.

Also - there is a Hendrix torrent site out there: Crosstown Torrents It's interesting to read what they think about the new album. Also - there is a torrent up of James Marshall - Midnight Lightning. I bought that album for five bucks backs in the early 1990s. If anyone wants this, here it is (in FLAC)(This is a link to a FLAC blog): Message From Nine To The Universe

You should read the Kot book, and/or watch Man In The Sand. I don't think Jeff would lie. When I first saw this posted, I also thought of the Guthrie songs Jay is working on. It's either that, or Billy is going to do a Volume III by himself.

It turns out that I have it, and forgot that I had it. Question is - where did I get it? Every place I looked it was a dead seed. That may be where I got it from. I spent a great deal of time this past Winter redoing all of my track lists, and getting rid of CDRs of albums that I ended up buying. Or albums that people sent me that I could just not get into. I must have it got it during that time and forgot about it. I also gained a case full of Ryan Adams studio stuff, and Led Zeppelin soundboards. Taper's Section (March 22- March 28, 2010)
