  1. Do you and Jesus need this show from me? And did you get a sub while you up there?
  2. Maybe that is the deal - I have never really listened to any of them - maybe one of the last ones. What's really funny is - we don't have this show up at the Wilco Live Show Archive - it is actually coming in all the way from Europe. So we will have it in FLAC eventually.
  3. We are lucky these shows are even available. Some of the shows are not - and I can see why. It's posts like yours that back-up my belief that these shows should not be released for the world to hear. You don't know the whole story - maybe you want to do some searching on the topic living room show - via the search box, to see what the deal is.
  4. That is true - plus their music is not easily digested. I didn't mean to diss any long time members here.
  5. I figure next fall. That album is still my favorite. Latest news - a re-issue of Under a Blood Red Sky. Here is the remaster thread - in case you want to read it.
  6. I looked at this thread this morning - I guess times have changed quite a bit here - if a lot of people who post on a Wilco board are not familiar with Freakwater. Hint: Bob Egan I have no idea who the other band is - so maybe it is me who is out of touch. It sounds like someone screwed up having them play a show together. I don't have a cell phone - so I am not familiar with text messaging.
  7. Of course, what you have there is Bob Dylan and his beard, a friend of his with a Bob Dylan Beard, and the fellow who wrote the song Bob Dylan's Beard, who sometimes grows a Bob Dylan beard himself, all in one place. Cosmic, man.
  8. George Harrison - that image is from The Concert For Bangladesh. Link to image.
  9. I think that is right - much like The Apple Scrufs, there are those who camp out around various U2 spots. I watched a video once of some Spanish fans who were camped out around their place in Dublin - Bono and The Edge talked to them for quite some time.
  10. I saw this on Digg this morning: Spokesman Admits McCain Broke Forum Rules
  11. See the post above - he is back to blogging again.
  12. That news was announced in an email from Wilco HQ - July 28th.
  13. No listing for 2/15/05 at db.etree/org 3/14/06 - Looks like some people have this one - db.etree.org I have never seen the 2/15/05 show out there anywhere - maybe it was not taped. We have the 3/14/06 show listed at The Wilco Live Show Archive - but we have not yet received the show.
  14. Right on - I posted it with you in mind.
  15. Interesting - there has been an active thread about the Peter Green era on another message board I look at. Memories of Led Zeppelin's only Australian tour
  16. Grateful Dead Live at Paramount Theater on 1972-07-26 Grateful Dead Listening Guide entry
  17. I think the answer is in this thread. If not that thread, try this thread.
  18. I've talked about this at least once in the Youtube thread - but I have that film on video. I caught it on A&E - before they became the crime and punishment channel, they use to run cool films like that.
  19. Grateful Dead Live at Fillmore West on 1971-07-02
  20. A Sea Black With Ink - Wilco Song Information Cars Can't Escape Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Engineer
  21. The Who The Seeker 1970 Promo film Who Are You 1978 Promo video Don't Let Go The Coat 1981 Promo video Face Dances 1 Face Dances 2 Face Dances 3
  22. It was, it was. Another good live album - Queen Live Killers - although, like Humble Pie - Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore, there is a bit bleeped out.
