No way - I am always first. It's probably that I am just not interested in their music anymore - not something I would really listen to these days. On some other boards I look at people are saying about the same thing as we are saying here.

See my post above - you can find (almost) anything on Youtube these days. I think these songs are crap - particularity Lars' drum sound and drumming.

Back in 2005 Jared got an advance copy of the Ryan Adams album Jacksonville City Nights. He went to some Ryan Adams blogs and posted the fact that he had heard the new album and that it was great. . .

I think in some ways, he has become like Linda Perry/Desmond Child - that is, someone who works with an artist from that past, in their attempts to regain some of the former glory they once knew.

I think I read on the Ryan Adams Archive site that it was going to be combined with the Archive - but I guess it has not happened yet. It would be a shame to lose all of that information - hopefully, they do something.

I was just reading the book about the making of the film - pretty heavy stuff. It's pretty funny to read what Ross Halfin has to say about Lars on his blog from time to time.

The Metal Thread - maybe be something in there, from a few months ago - not sure. From what I have heard of it, it sounds overproduced with some sort of effect (Auto-Tune?) on the vocals.
