  1. The deal on this, as well as, all the other shows that have been put out over the last several years, is as HH stated above. They were taped during the shows that when into making up The Absolutely Live album. From what I have read, there are hundreds of edits on that album. I read somewhere once that they found these tapes while they were putting the boxset together some years back - which, in terms of unreleased stuff - is pretty awesome. I recall when I was in high school, Alive She Cried came out - and it was a trip to read about them finding the tapes after so many years. I don't own a
  2. These dudes actually played here where I live a while back. I think I have a couple of songs from their first album on a cdr. Sometimes, they make me think of the so-called faceless mid-western bands of the mid-to late 70s for some odd reason. I would think their chart-topping days are long past, just like Hootie & The Blowfish, or The Black Crowes for that matter, but yet they still have a audience and put out albums. And as a result - maybe they do what they want and don't bow to having to have hit songs. Wasn't Adam on a Ryan Adams album? Gold?
  3. I recall being hung-up (Are you hung-up? - Eric Clapton) on that song once upon a time.
  4. Did anyone see the clip of that model who throws cell phones at people asking Hilary about the time Bill cheated on her? Far out.
  5. I am sure the government will take mine, as they did the first time he did this.
  6. Speaking of which, I was just talking about The City on the Edge of Forever the other day, which was filmed around the time I turned one year old.
  7. I had the cassette since the 1980s, then the original cd release, then the first re-masters (no extras), and now, another re-master with several bonus tracks and some great liner notes/photos.
  8. Exactly. Mine was hardcover, first edition. Some of friend of mine got it for 5 bucks at some chain bookstore place and gave it to me.
  9. I had that book, Mrs. Peel has it now. It's a great book to learn about the history of this sort of thing.
  10. I don't see how he can justify the re-re-re-re-releases. How many different bonus outtakes does the dude have left? He must be scraping the barrel by this point. I feel bad for his dedicated fan base who must go out and keep buying them over and over again. When I was talking to Mountain Bed the other night, I mentioned that I have now bought Truth/Beck-ola four times.
  11. I think I saw one of those on Ebay some years ago - same person was also selling an original pressing of Ten of Swords.
  12. A ha I recall seeing some of those a few years ago on the Sc-Fi channel I think it was.
  13. And Elvis Costello is releasing some of his again - I think this is the 4th Time Around?
  14. Finally. I have heard most of that stuff - but it will be good to have a good sounding version of those tracks.
  15. How can that be when Rhino is releasing them as DVD sets? Also - FCC rules are different as to what is ok before a certain time and what is ok after a certain time at night - with regards to sex, violence, nudity, swearing etc.
  16. Sorry - I was mad when I made that statement.
  17. 1/2 Joke But - one would not go to jessica simpson naked and covered in tuna fish oil.com to find photos of Jeff Tweedy - I don't think.
  18. Or you could just go to google, do a search, and probably find all sorts of photos of semi-nude women.
  19. The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour Jefferson Airplane - Crown Of Creation [infamous Grace Slick blackface video] The Buckinghams - Don't You Care The Hollies - Carrie Ann Pete Seeger - Waist Deep In The Big Muddy
