  1. I don't know if we get those anywhere here, old chap. Sarah was also in Last Tango in Halifax. Which I sort of watched, but not really. I wish Netflix or somewhere would run the episodes of Whitechapel I did not get to see.
  2. I was watching some old stuff - Herman's Head (1991-1994) and Life With Louie (1995-1998). Now, I am watching Happy Valley season 2, and also I watched Bosch season 2.
  3. I have not listened to Hundred Year Hall for a long time. The Other One on disc 2 is just exactly perfect.
  4. Here's something I did not know. I have read many Dylan books and don't recall reading that MJ had a stake in Bob's catalog.
  5. That's right. From what I have read - a person may own the tape, but they don't really own the music on the tape. I think what she says regarding that deal was that she was owed money from the work she did at the Radio City shows and was never paid.
  6. U.S. Blues from the GD movie - the girl in the orange/brown plaid top - has always intrigued me. She's in the thumbnail for the video. She pops up around 2:11 in the video.
  7. I am guessing that must be the people talked about in that article Rob wrote a while back.
  8. On that video page - down below, on the right - is my mystery girl from the GD movie.
  9. I wonder if they had to pay - or someone actually gave them the reels.
  10. That Ladies and Gentlemen release is still one of my favorite official releases. It's hard to believe it has been almost 16 years since it was released. That Dick's Picks is the first one I ever got.
  11. Interesting interview with Peter here: Peter Buck on Life After R.E.M. 'I Hate the Business'
  12. Looks like Jay is coming out of hibernation:
  13. I have not heard any of those re-re-releases. There is an Idlewild South box also. I think you mentioned that one the other day.
  14. You can mostly tell in some of those photos - he is super skinny and strung out. I think it never came out much due to the way he died. And I think also due to Gregg's long TMZ life that overshadowed Daune's short life.
  15. I think I probably knew about this - but still it's a trip to read about it: GD/Cream March 11th 1968, Sacramento, California
  16. There is a bunch of talk about that time period in that One Way Out book Although I find the sound of him playing slide one of the greatest sounds ever - I don't think I would have wanted to be around him. I guess he was what we would call an "alpha male" today.
  17. I wonder why it didn't come up when I searched.
  18. Amazon must be rock blocking me - I don't see anything but the vinyl bootleg.
  19. There are some great songs on that album. It just sounds funky.
  20. I think he talks about it some GD book I read - maybe in the interview with him in the Taper's book.
  21. Isn't that due to Owsley being in prison - and no one running a tapedeck while he was gone?
  22. I was trying to find the book this guy wrote - which I had - but seems to have disappeared. Anyhow, this seems to be a good site for Ryan news: Losering - David Menconi
