Announcement: VC's Torrents are DOWN - Announcement: And Now for a Word from Our Sponsors Announcement: Important VC Subscription News and Update - Important Topics Pinned: Heads up on Subscriptions Important Notice Pinned: The Hammer & Sickle Clean Up Program Just something I have been curious about - these things are situated so that they are right next to each other and some things are repeated. Why have stuff in the important topics section that is already in the annoucement section? OR am I just wrong?
-
Why duplicate things - why have the same thread in both sections.

Down in the graveyard where we have our tryst The air smells sweet, the air smells sick He never smiles, his mouth merely twists The breath in my lungs feels clinging and thick But I know his name, he's called Mr. D. And one of these days he's gonna set you free Human skulls is hangin' right 'round his neck The palms of my hands is clammy and wet Lord, I was dancin', dancin', dancin' so free Dancin', dancin', dancin' so free Dancin', Lord, keep your hand off me Dancin' with Mr. D., with Mr. D., with Mr. D. Will it be poison put in my glass Will it be slow or will it be fast? The bite of a

I think I lost it Let me know if you come across it Let me know if I let it fall Along a back road somewhere Money can't replace it No memory can erase it And I know I'm never gonna find Another one to compare Give me some love to fill me up Give me some time give me some stuff Give me a sign give me some kind of reason Are you heavy enough to make me stay I feel like I might blow away I thought I was in heaven But I was only dreamin I think I lost it Let me know if you come across it Let me know if I let it fall Along a back road somewhere Money can't replace it No memory can erase it And I

God ain't jive For I can see his love As it runs alive 'N one by one Through fields of rusted wire The war has just begun Oh, cross over shame like the wise dove Who cares not for fame just for shy love 'N rejoice for the king ain't lost his throne, oh no He's still here, you are not alone Correct your heads For there's a new song rising High above the waves Go write your time Go sing it on the streets Go tell the world, but you go brave Oh my sweet instant Christian you are such a sly clown Too many questions, no replies now 'N rejoice for the king ain't lost his throne, oh no He's still here

The rooms were so much colder then My father was a soldier then And times were very hard When I was young I smoked my first cigarette at ten And for girls, I had a bad yen And I had quite a ball When I was young When I was young, it was more important Pain more painful Laughter much louder Yeah, when I was young When I was young I met my first love at thirteen She was brown and I was pretty green And I learned quite a lot when I was young When I was young When I was young Pain more painful Laughter much louder Yeah, when I was young When I was young My faith was so much stronger then

Do you want to end up like John? You can't stay 17 forever.

I've been using that number for months with no problems.

I don't think I want to read such things - but there was a film about the flu thing on PBS a while back.

This must be the place Second place in the human race Down in the basement Now I know what he meant Secondary modern But there won't be a problem till the girls go home This is the hand that you never shook You never gave me the chance that I took Secondary modern But there won't be a problem till the girls go home Is it out of the question Between you and me Is it pleasure or business Or a packet of three? Nobody makes me sad like you Now my whole world goes from blue to blue Secondary modern But there won't be a problem till the girls go home...

Good for you! Tape is where it's at.

If I was you, I would dig around on Ebay. A new one will cost you several thousand dollars. http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jul04/articles/qa0704-3.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reel-to-reel_..._tape_recording Also - think about parts when you buy such a thing - as the bands and clutch will surely go or will already be busted. May be best to find something newer - if possible. I like old stuff - but one has to be prepared to work on such things.

She walks with a bell-clock round her neck So the hippies think she's in with time Time... Her hair glistens like robins on a deck Branches attack me from her neck She's so fine She's so very very fine The sun from a cloud sinks into her eyes The rain from a tree soaks into her mind Mind... Morning sign sounds just like a lark All these signs are always a start She's so fine She's so very very fine When I veer I get so near But so far far far away Listen to me today We united just beside a leaf The ground was hard underneath her her Ahhhahhh She's so fine Ahhhahhh
