  1. smokin guitars! great mix, i heard all three radio cure - haven't been playing this much.
  2. ask and you shall receive! thought they might play this next, did someone send you a purloined setlist?
  3. glen killed on this song last week in richmond
  4. one wing - pretty standard setlist so far, sounding great!
  5. me too, i think there may be a "que" 4 this kinda thing
  6. yes getting the same 403 error, maybe it's not live yet...
  7. also looking for a pair for philly, please email kmartin@peace-action.org
  8. me too, if the other person doesn't work out pls email me at kmartin@peace-action.org
  9. yes, that is a correct characterization of my position re their lack of improvisation. again though, they are a phenomenal band and I frackin love them!!
  10. right on you white roser, from a red roser (Lancaster native). May be in Philly too after two spectacular shows in Richmomd and Bethesda.
  11. saw both Richmond and Bethesda the next night and the acoustic set and the segue into and out of was sweet both times, with different songs in Bethesda - Reservations into Spiders (which is so cool acoustic! who'da thunk?) and Passenger Side last acoustic into Airline to Heaven electric. Highlight for me of the acoustic set at Richmond was How to Fight Loneliness, it was sublime, kind of a bossa nova vibe.
  12. speaking of Summerteeth, How to Fight Loneliness in the acoustic set at Richmond Monday night was sublime, had a great rumba or almost bossa nova groove
  13. somehow i knew he was going to say mahler and not dvorak or beethoven or mozart or anyone else, it was very funny!
  14. My pal has those songs on his ipod and played the Thunderclap in the car on the way to Richmond, it is terrific. Gotta their version of Political Science ("we'll spare Australia, don't wanna hurt no kangaroos!").
  15. can't speak to dublin, but as someone who's lived most of my life in the east but spent 12 years in the midwest, folks there are generally way more polite than easterners, and it carries over to concerts
  16. wow, as the person who started this thread (and LOVED both the Richmond and Bethesda shows), thanks for the edificiation, will have to go to Dublin sometime to check it out meself (and Springsteen's Live in Dublin DVD/CD is phenomenal, with the Sessions Band not the E Streeters)
  17. they played it Monday night at Richmond too.
  18. disagree on the flying thru Hoodoo Voodoo and I'm a Wheel, first off they were smokin' versions and I saw those two songs back to back at the Wappingers Falls show last summer and they were just as good and about the same length both times.
  19. good description, and it was a sublime show overall. any time!
  20. Tweedy was not cranky tonight (nor was I). Phenomenol show, slow at time but overall they were sublime. Here's what I posted: Great show, a little slow at times but really picked up. Transition into and out of the acoustic set is way cool, seamless (and not always utilizing the same intro/outro songs bookending the switcheroo). Terrific encore -- Box Full of Letters (requested by fans! they heard us!), Hoodoo Voodoo (face-melting guitar licks traded by Nels and Pat) and I'm a Wheel. 3 hours for two nights in a row (for them and me - whew!). Airline was awesome, too, as were many, many songs.
  21. really, do you have a note from your urolgist?
