  1. grazze (actually i think i knew that and forgot it)
  2. So why is this song, Not for the season, also called Laminated Cat anyway?
  3. XRT rocks! Sound is great. Predictable setlist so far (I guessed IATTBYH)
  4. face value, email kmartinpa@gmail.com if interested
  5. the NPR link to hear the show http://www.npr.org/2011/09/21/140669742/live-sunday-wilco-in-concert And Via Chicago to open the encore smoked!
  6. Agreed. No Woody songs. A rockin, awesome show as always, but the set list coulda been more eclectic. Def NPR influence.
  7. Great set (on wilcoworld site) but Nels is not loud enuff in the mix, as usual!
  8. very nice! dang i wish i had dragged my butt up to MA
  9. Impossible Germany? Cali Stars? Alas my wife doesn't like Wilco (yes this is a prob in our marriage) so I'm counting on VC'ers to answer this burning query!
  10. Jeez they played the crap out of Broken Arrow!
  11. saw three great shows (richmond, bethesda, philly) in very diff venues, diff setlists, diff vibe and energy every time, impossible to name one as the "best," all were sublime.
  12. yes pgh is a lovely city (from an eastern PA native) yeah, been to five wilco shows, haven't sat or gone potty yet!
  13. Saw 3 mid-Atlantic shows (Richmond, Bethesda and Philly) all were fantastic, also cool to see them at different types of venues (older rehabbed theater, newish symphony hall with awesome sound, big warehouse-club respectively) in addition to the Wolf Trap and minor league ballpark (Wappingers Falls, NY) shows I saw last July. Also listening to the live webcast from Concord, NH while posting (over 1000 posts!) to VC with fellow Wilco-obsessed folk was a gas! Not only does the band deliver the best show for the price (or really for any price!), it may be the best entertainment of any kind for th
  14. dang i wished they'd played more of those in the show! 'twas the best encore i've seen in five wilco shows (3 on this tour), casino queen blew the lid off the joint! eclectic setlist, a lot of the "standards" they've played live this year and last, but also i saw 7 or 8 songs i hadn't seen live in 4 previous shows, so that was way cool!
  15. Great show in Philly last night (my third on this leg of the tour, after Richmond and Bethesda). Tweedy did call out the Chatty Cathys, there was a lot of yakking going on, and I think the Electric Factory venue had something to do with it. The folks on the floor were not chatty at all, it was more the folks in the balcony, though I saw lots of folks there digging the show and not talking.
  16. yep, interested, please email kmartin@peace-action.org or my cousin (the ticket is for him) at davidtoddjones@me.com
  17. i'm interested, please email kmartin@peace-action.org or my cousin (the ticket is for him) at davidtoddjones@me.com
  18. my knees hurt from standing on my basement floor, so yeah (my basement floor is much harder than the concert hall floors, where of course i stood the whole time (almost) for bethesda and the whole richmond show. well that and the scotch.
  19. i'm interested in a pair, please email kmartin@peace-action.org
