  1. Still trying to contact you if youre tickets are available
  2. I was there, and picked up a couple sweet tickets center front from a fellow fan here (Thanks!), and sat next to a superfan couple from Chicago who just moved here. Kinda weird night, as noted above. I watched them here about 6-7 yrs ago, when the front was GA, and it was rocking. Tonight was definitely a money crowd, and honestly the venue sound is very marginal. Hate assigned seating at Wilco show in front - the reason I didn't get tickets when they went on sale. But couldn't resist, and glad we did. Really nice set. Energy was mixed. 8 of 11 off the new album, and this crowd in general didn
  3. Great write up. Going to be a very different vibe here in Austin, in concert hall venue, a first fire them in Austin that I can recall. Can't find the owl though - maybe I'm just going blind or not close enough Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  4. I have 2 tickets to both nights at Stubbs. Sorely disappointed in not going again (missed 2013 shows also - the roadcase was epic) I'm in Houston - will work out with frontgatetickets to get you these by email or in will call.
  5. I have 2 tickets to both Tuesday and Wednesday shows at Stubbs. I'm in Houston - checking on emailing ticket options
  6. Check hatch prints tomorrow. They had the first show prints for sale at the store
  7. Two shows ... 60 songs ... No repeats. Incredible couple days ...
  8. A few songs I had never heard before in concert, including Solitaire, Cars Can Escape, Promising i was frustrated on Promising. I knew it hardly had ever been played in concert, and I think they screwed up Nel's pickup, because you could just barely hear his accoustic steel pedal? Very softly played, but classic. Similarly finished with everyone on accoustic, including Mikael (a first for me to see) and Pat on banjo at the edge of the stage in front of their speakers on Misunderstood. Crowd singing along, almost down to a whisper so you could hear them, cause it was truly unplugged. Classic.

    RYMAN THREAD

Misunderstood with everyone on acoustic and pat on banjo to finish. Epic
  10. I have 2 tickets for the 21st show in Balcony 12-F [$57] and 1 ticket for the 22nd show on floor 5-H [$72.50] if interested. Face + service charges
  11. From my wife, who emailed me from the show, "... I'm standing next to a lady - Rita - whose husband tapes bands and uploads to etree.org. The band lets him put his stuff up with their equipment. He's been doing it for 10 years."
  12. OMG what a set list. 33 songs. My best bud and wife caught the show while I was stuck on a job half-way around the world.
  13. you absolutely should have just driven to Austin - it is one of those classic venues like the Ryman that you know is going to bring out the best in the band (saw both of those). Was a little worried hearing the bad press in Dallas, but this show was intriguing. Opening with Reservations was awesome (never heard it live) - they've been opening with AOA or OSM for almost the entire new tour, including the ATL and Ryman gigs. The hollow body Rickenbacher that Jeff was playing was only upstaged by Nels on Duane's guitar (that's the 4th show I've seen that guitar at now! . Jeff was in a very lively
  14. I saw both Ryman shows, and the Houston show just before the new album came out, and it definitely makes a difference in the crowd interaction. The Ryman shows were top-shelf, even though they opened one of them with OSM - this is a true favorite of mine, and I have a hard time sitting down even on this. Heading to Austin for the show tomorrow - I expect them to have a very lively crowd. Anybody have any idea if there might be an Autumn Defense sighting in Austin? They played in Nashville (outstanding), and I saw they played at this year's SXSW.
  15. well said. Pleasure was ours. Hope we cross paths again . . .
  16. - not sure there is much to add. An incredible set tonight, and as Jeff said, "if you didn't get to both shows, you only saw half". Stood in the balcony tonight. Stayed after outside and talked to each member on their way out (except Jeff, who we learned later left immediately to the bus). Nels told a story as he was signing that the Duane Les Paul was borrowed from the Allman bro museum in Macon, and that it was extra special for the museum for it to return to Nashville, where Duane was born, and ?where he (duane) proposed to his wife on the stage of the Ryman, hiding the ring in the catch wh
  17. I've got 4 on the floor, Section 4 row V, (last night in row W in same section) and I think I would rather be up top tonight if anyone is interested. We'll be out front early . . .
  18. - love to get a poster from last night if anyone can hook up. Will be there tonight early enough to trade/buy extra - saw them in ATL, and they opened with Art of Almost, which lit up the crowd. One Sunday Morning was late into set, and I personally thought it was more awesome later than earlier. - a fantastic play list at Ryman day 1; a few I had never heard and will have to do some searching for - did anyone else think Nel's sound was a bit low ( I know that is hard to believe)? - don't get me wrong, it was a reverent venue, but my wife and I were on the floor in the back and I would love to
