There have been too many weekday shows in Denton I've missed because of the drive. A friend of mine has been to a couple of shows at Will Rogers and said it's a pretty good venue. I've never been, though. Just the fact that it's within walking distance of my house is good enough for me.

That's true. Although Denton is worse. I was surprised I made it home after The Drams show a few weeks ago.

Any word on possible opening acts? Man it will be nice to finally not have to drive to Dallas for a show.

This has been on practically all week - easily one of the best of the year IMO. How does the rest of their catalog compare? Admittedly, I'm fairly new to this band.

M.Ward - Post-War The advance hype on this board is completely deserved. Great album and IMO fifty times better than Transistor Radio (which I was very unimpressed with). "Requiem" is incredible.

This is annoying as hell. I've found myself agreeing with Pitchfork more often than not lately.

I'm really liking this, which surprises me a little.
