  1. Ahhhhh!!! Have gotten to the buy screen twice but then it says no inventory available (even for 1 ticket). Sad face : (
  2. I always make a point of standing stage left so I can be in front of Pat. He's just so fun to watch. My favorite Pat moment is from the Tweedy solo show in Milwaukee where the Autumn Defense opened. Jeff was playing IATTBYH and stopped suddenly in the middle. Pat was backstage playing along on the Steinway he and John were ogling over during their set! I had a good view of the wings and out jumped Pat with a huge grin on his face. Jeff motioned for him to go back to the piano and they finished the song together. The spontaneity of it all was refreshing.

  4. I guess that would depend on your interpretation of "by Wilco." In this case, I enjoy the song to such an extent that I view "by Wilco" to mean "performed by the band Wilco or any members thereof."
  5. It's from a Jandek tribute disc called Down in a Mirror issued by Summerstep Records.
  6. I was in the fourth row and had a great view of the wings on stage left. As soon as the piano playing stopped, Pat emerged looking like he got his hand caught in the cookie jar. Jeff gestured for him to keep playing and Pat dashed back to the piano, which was out of sight behind the curtains, and finished the song. It was hilarious. I think Pat just couldn't help himself!
  7. Help! What's the password???
  8. Your avatar is amazing!!!! ...and yes, I'm going to Lollapalooza. I'm not a big fan of festivals but I just couldn't pass this one up. Last time I went was 14 years ago. I went with some friends and given that we were 14 at the time, my mother drove us. She waited in the car while we rocked out for the afternoon. My mom rules.
