Goonbaggins - That's too bad. I had browser windows open for all days and thought I could buy and they would go to cart. I got an error saying I could only buy for on show on an order so that's likely why that happened to you. It's easy to get excited and not double check. I would post on tickets board. maybe someone will take your extra Monday tickets rather than buy online.

It's going to be hard to get Saturday, I have extras, but several people in line to get them. I generally get extras for just this reason, there's always someone that needs them. It took me 45 minutes or so to get the extras for fri and sat. I wish I had more to help you out. Worst case, there are some on ebay for double face value. There is always a chance they will release more as the show gets closer so keep an eye out for that. Sorry for the tough luck!

Saw that too, I say any day's a great day to see Wilco! Just checked eBay for fun and already selling overpriced tickets for Friday and Saturday. 

That is very true! My idea of fun has changed from being up front to sitting on my ars in the balcony and enjoying the music! I love being front row, but now mostly at seated solo shows!

As of now, I'm holding both nights. I should know early next week and I will let you know.

Is there going to be a way to buy tickets for all 6 nights?  We were able to buy the 5 night package for the last residency and hope to do the same thing this time!

I'm thinking possibly. On the etix site, only days 2-6 are shown. On jam, there is one anomoly with the first night page, no "remind me when tickets go on sale!" email field at top like the rest of the nights. That may be nothing but the fact that etix doesn't show the first night may indicate that a package will be available through the jam site. Wishful thinking, probably. Does anyone remember if they announced the Winter Residency 5 ticket package before hand? I'm thinking that was a surprise when I got the tickets. We'll see what happens. I know there's probably one day I can't make it but if I could get a package, it would leave options open and be a much easier purchase. I'm going to look at night 1 first just in case.

I was just having a conversation with a friend the other day who was remarking that she came to her first Tweedy solo show at the Vic alone and went back home telling her friends that she felt she had finally found her tribe. Sometimes there's a real benefit in going to shows alone, unless you're very reserved. You make new friends who can relate to this niche interest you have.

I've been to countless shows "alone". There were several years that I just sorta kept to myself but in recent years I've met some new friends. I never feel like I'm going alone any longer! Hope to see you guys at at least some of the shows. Wish they had a package deal so I could justify this to my wife! Did they announce the 5 ticket package for the Winter Residency? If I recall that was a bit of a surprise at sale time, could be wrong though.

The proper words are hard to find a situation like this, but I'm sure you know how many people feel for you and your family.  You and Jeff have done so much to make our lives better through song, your goodness will will be rewarded and get you through this trying time. Cornbread said it well… it is amazing how bad we all feel for someone we don't know on a personal level. I really feel as if I have gotten this news about a close family member or friend.  Stay positive Sue, you are blessed to have your wonderful family to see you through this!
