And the man (at the time) had millions upon millions of dollars, and he may have been odd enough that he didn't care what people would think about it - so paying the settlements was just easier. Not saying he didn't do it, but like Chappelle says in that clip, only God, Michael and the kids know for sure. I'm seeing people being awfully cavalier about his guilt, here and elsewhere.

Yeah it was a little disappointing that the 'premiere' of songs from the new album amounted to songs that're already out there. Although, the a capella version of 'In The Cut' was all we'd heard previously (save for the bad fan mixes the DJ mentioned). I was hoping for a studio version of the Nas tune - which is reportedly the first single, out July 21.

Well this is just about the best thing on the web ever. I'm hooked.

Thanks, yeah - I know about that, but you used to not have to do that here. Most sites open links in a new tab as a default.

Really, my only issue with the upgrade is external links opening in the same tab/window, taking me away from VC.

I welcomed the upheaval as I had been trying and failing to limit my time spent here - since the board's been back and running regular, I've been trying to keep with the habit.

Sort of - he looked like one of the nerds from Sixteen Candles.

I was in a record store in Chicago a few years ago and the clerk put on a great tune called 'Dry The Rain' by The Beta Band. A bunch of us in the store ended up buying the album on the spot.
