  1. Have you read this thread? I think I'm the only one kissing the ground it walks on.
  2. Short piece w/red carpet interviews: http://www.hulu.com/watch/80682/mvids-jimmy-page-and-jack-white-documentary
  3. I like where the board avatar style is heading.
  4. Bookmarked. That's the stuff, thanks. I'm curious, what does "We use it for everything we do" refer to?
  5. Mr Dude did this in that other DN thread (which is gone or something?) - I love the damned lyrics! I was beating up babies babies I mean that don't look like babies but they're babies to me People that is fucking kickass writing. PJ Harvey. Minutemen shit. The first listen I was "did I just hear 'I was beatin up babies'?" And the feel, the noises, the weird momentum - still hearing this as an album opener. If this replaced The Song, and everything else stayed the same, this would be a WHOLE other album.
  6. Whatever about numbers, I am totally on board with all the descriptions above. Well said.
  7. You probably tipped the scale with that Markakis shirt.
  8. Aww, for reals? I think this is my favorite Wilco song since You Are My Face.
  9. That's gotta be purely a novelty thing. 8-tracks are a nightmare.
  10. I don't like any of them. I originally stumbled upon this site while looking for an aerosol can leak detector and just happened to really enjoy the place.

  12. chan - maybe if you start a Regina Spektor station on Pandora, your song will show up? Oh, wait.
  13. I know, right? The dude had multi-colored blood!!
  14. Jack building that guitar in the trailer epitomizes his persona - cocky, intuitive, impressive, cool.
  15. Well, for perspective in my case, SBS might be my favorite Wilco album, and Wilco (the album) my least.
  16. Same for me. It feels like a 'between' album to me - Wilco's first.
  17. I know, that's why I said fuck you. This exchange is gonna look so awesome tomorrow. Sorry in advance to all.
  18. I saw the ad - where's all that live footage from, the DVD?
  19. There's someone that the Emerson College station has been playing lately who reminded me of Regina Spektor recently...and now I've been poring over their playlists looking for who it may have been. Thanks a lot chanman, I feel like I've heard this mysterious song now, and need to know what it is....
  20. We were playing chicken and I won!!!!!!!!!! (fr realz, I looked at your previous post and was like 'is he kidding...or not...hmm....' and decided my next move) Anyway - sorry everyone else. I blame the Red Sox loss on Tom Caron, the NESN desk douche, who, during the rain delay, was talking about the game (which was 9-1 Sox at that point) as if it were in the books. "This is the Red Sox' (whatever stat) win over Baltimore in (whatever stat) games..." As he was saying it I was like "Dude..." I don't want the Red Sox to be unbeatable monsters. I just don't. So there's a part of me that enjo
