  1. "Hi, welcome to Swingo's Celebrity Inn. You must be Stillwater."
  2. He's becoming as reliable as Punxsutawney Phil with this.
  3. Crazy From The Heat may be the quickest read ever for me. Maybe two days. So enjoyable.
  4. I had David Lee Roth sign my copy of Huckleberry Finn. John Irving-wise, Garp is a close second to Owen Meany for me.
  5. Doesn't have that overwhelming 'big' sound that's been U2's crutch lately. I like that a lot.
  6. This was excellent. Starts out slow - I was afraid we were headed for another Talledega Nights-esque situation where each little snort of laughter is almost not worth the physical exertion it warrants. But it kicks into overdrive once Ferrell's other brother shows up, and keeps that momentum through the end, through the gag reel, through the deleted scenes, line-o-rama, the making of....all awesome.
  7. Stanley: Pick nap - nothing's on TV this time of day. Creed: Bonnie Hunt is on.
  8. Okay, now we're getting somewhere. That's a tune.
  9. When Harry Met Sally > Gladiator
  10. Cool - is that new, Eric? I really enjoyed Songs from the Second Floor.
  11. You're preaching to the choir - she was crazy important, yes. In addition to that, she has a voice that affects me like a nine-volt battery touching my tongue.
  12. How is everyone hearing this song? Not GOYB.
  13. We've done this here before (natch), but the fact that I can't stand two seconds of her singing has no affect on my knowledge that she is an important factor in Dylan's early career, and a hot chick to boot.
  14. I thought that was one of the best episodes. The awkwardness of Pam taking over the lecture was sublime, the cat stuff was fantastic, the nap/TV theme was great (love how they're having Jim & Dwight play off each other), and the plot was brought ahead nicely without contrivances.
  15. Letterman is the king of having provocative guest appearances on his show - from Glover tripping to Madonna swearing to Drew flashing - now this. Leno wouldn't be able to handle the act. So that's another point in favor of this being premeditated.
  16. Agreed 100%. I can't imagine in a million years enjoying 'The Water Is Wide' off of Rolling Thunder.
  17. That is a great review - he nails it.
