Hmm, thanks for the suggestion - I do love the rawness though (I mean, it doesn't get much more raw than the Genuine Basement Tapes). I can't explain why Big Pink doesn't move me. Perhaps it will someday.

Oh, well.

I own Music from Big Pink and The Band - I don't really dig either of them (my rock music mentor is spinning in his grave right now). Are there Band fans who don't hold these two (particularly Big Pink) in such high regard, like so many seem to? I try again and again, but I just can't feel this stuff. Like I said before, I'm a big Basement Tapes fan.
