  1. Godwin's Law: As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.

    :yes Also,

There is a tradition in many online discussion forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically "lost" whatever debate was in progress. This principle is itself frequently referred to as Godwin's Law. Thus Godwin's Law effectively serves to impose an upper bound on thread length in general.

    Thread over.

  2. Are you serious?

Yes. However, I'm only familiar with Uncut, Mojo, Q and NME. Also, it's true that Uncut has been on a steady decline for awhile, but then again so have most music magazines.

  4. i have a theory that he was holding back his best stuff for Sirens, thus why we got what we got on the last DBT record (which wasn't all that great of an album to begin with, no matter what you say about Jason's contributions. it's easily their weakest of the last 4)

I wish they would've included When The Well Runs Dry in ABAAC.

  5. In Shakey, Neil claims that he recorded the vocal for Will To Love, "in one sitting, in front of the fireplace.... I have never sung it except for that one time."

Thanks, it's been awhile since I read Shakey so I wasn't sure if it had some extra information about Will To Love. I have always loved that song, so I'd love to keep imagining Neil in front of that crackling fireplace, singing that song for the first and only time.
