This was news to me too, but apparently:

Golden Smog provides some new 'Blood'Golden Smog has never been known for prolific output, releasing just three albums and an EP during a 15-year period. But on April 24, the Minneapolis-based collective that features members of Soul Asylum and the Jayhawks will release Blood on the Slacks, its second disc in less than a year.

I think it's great. I liked the first record a bit, but I really enjoy this one. "Underwater (You and Me)" is one of the best straightahead pop songs to hit my ears in a while, and I like that Ounsworth is figuring out what he should be doing with his voice. "Yankee Go Home" is a hell of a track too, as is "Satan."I'm really enjoying this too, not as straightforward as their debut, it's a little darker in tone and feel. I actually quite like "Satan", it feels like something you could dance to
Totally agree.

I did a quick search of the usenet group alt.music.wilco, and it seems WXRT had played Poor Places June 29th (link), and that by July 17th almost all of the tracks had leaked (link)
I remember listening to YHF during the summer of 2001, but it was probably in August at the earliest. Got it off WinMX or Audiogalaxy, I think. Oh, those were the days...

"Atomic Power" was on March 16-20, 1992, though. Go buy that one too.

Borat, my arse!
I'd presume that most people who find Royle Family funny also love Borat. At least I do.
-
I first heard The White Album when I was 17 (1995). Good education.

Well, what I have heard it's pretty weak, but I'd like to see it nevertheless (completists purposes.) Muddy Track is aces though, don't you agree?
-
Cool, especially TFA, I hope they release it on CD sometime. Don't Be Denied is one of my favorite NY songs. JTTP I don't care that much honestly, but I guess it would make sense to release it with the movie (have you seen it, btw?)
-
I hope you didn't waste your money.

Good lord.
This is like complaining that Scarlett Johansen is lousy in bed.
Now that you mention it...
