I've had a little music blog for a couple of years. The right people checking it out at the right time has earned me some promo cds and some guest list spots for live shows. Nothing too major. Unfortunately no money in it for me...

Haha, yeah, just got the promo in the mail today. Well, by "today" I mean sometime in the past 5-7 days, which is about how long it takes me to check the mail sometimes... Unfortunately they end the album with, imo, their two weakest songs, but up until then I was really liking it a lot! Jubilee, Outer Space and Magazine Queen especially. EDIT: and Concealed. Concealed is pretty fucking sweet too....

Nope - they didn't come thru colorado this time. Bummer, too - I know Donna had a fabulous time Sunday night. They're coming out for Monolith in September, that may well be my first chance to finally see them live.

I hope Simon is able to sign them. I agree that Bella Union would be a great fit.

first (again:) then: i don't seem to want to listen to anything else at the moment. in other words, i saw a fucking amazing show tonight... 1) can't wait for the new oxford collapse album 2) that brilliant midnight organ fight is sure to figure pretty high in the eoy list...
